We were welcomed everyday by Vy and her family. This place had a very intimate feel. Great sized room, aircon, own bathroom. Room was cleaned every day and we were provided with fresh towels. Location is in the centre of District 1. We are backpackers so loved being 3 mins away from Bui Vien st, but once in our room it was completely quiet. Vy also organises tours and provided us with local maps and recommendations. For the price, would definitely recommend! Thanks Vy! Xem tiếp

We chose Vy Khan Guesthouse because of the overwhelmingly good reviews we read about the place. true enough we were not disappointed! its centrally located close to everything - food, attractions etc. What sets this guesthouse apart from others is what others have said, Vy's family makes you feel you are taken cared of in a place where you cant speak the local language. Had a good time talking to Vy's mom (she even wished when we visit next time we already have a new baby join our family trip haha), as well as enjoying the daily vietnamese coffee she gave us. Good Wifi, clean rooms, cold AC, plus the warm hospitality from Vy's family is hard to beat. Cons - really hard to find fault's at Vy's place if there is one at that price point. Would be easy to say that its a bit hard to find coz its inside an alley and might be intimidating for some, but it was never a problem for us. highly recommended! Xem tiếp

There is no such review I could write that would justify how amazing our stay was here. Vy, her mother, sister and even nephew have the most beautiful souls that will do anything to make sure you are comfortable, safe, happy and healthy! And make the most delicious coffee ❤ Rooms are clean, freshened every day for you, safe if you need it, always a hot shower and comfortable bed. Walk down to an amazing coffee, some beautiful smiling faces wishing you a good morning and a walk out into a great location with everything the city has to offer at arms length. My partner and I returned to this area of Saigon to spend a few days here before our flight departed. Having already stayed in the area we are familiar with the style of guest houses here. How happy we are to have found Vy’s place! Such an amazing experience. The rooms are very clean, with great natural light, hot water and adequate outlets. WiFi worked fine when we were there. The location is excellent. Tucked into an alleyway, it is close to the action of the city without the sound keeping you awake at night. Accommodation was easily 10/10, what really sets Vy’s guesthouse high above the rest is the amazing hospitality Vy and her family show. Upon arriving, you are greeted with a kind smile and delicious welcome drink (when we were there it was a limeade style of drink), we checked in very late and nevertheless were treated to such kindness and efficient explanations of food and attractions in the city (vy provides you her own custom created map). Each morning we were treated to authentic Vietnamese coffee, delicious! Vy was there to help us with whatever we needed, even exchanging $2 USD late at night when we had one last pho craving and didn’t have any dong left! We arranged the taxi through her, we were so glad we did so as we left our water bottle there and Vy realized this very quickly, and contacted our driver to stop and wait while she came on scooter to deliver our forgotten item :) Vy is also very helpful and easy to contact before your arrival; she sends a welcome email with great information and responds quickly to questions. be prepared to be treated like part of the family, you will be well taken care of! We stayed at Vy's Guesthouse two times for one night each, for transit. Vy is a wonderful owner who gave us the best Ho Chi Minh Map to discover District 1 by walking. Wonderful restaurant recommendations. The room itself is clean but quite small. But for one night it is totally fine. Good value for the money, hot water and a tasty welcome drink at the beginning. Stayed here three nights while in HCM. Lovely new clean room. Located really close to the centre with lots of bars and restaurants on your doorstep, but in a quiet street so you don’t the noise. Ms Vy was very helpful, providing a map with everything to do nearby and also helping us book tours and buses. Would definitely stay again. Xem tiếp

well obviously i am not tired nor exhausted during the trip. reason is that you are utmost welcome and after the tiring walk outside the premises.. it was so relaxing and the cleanliness is my top priority. Amazing guesthouse in a little alley in HCMC! The family is very sweet and we got a packet with all sorts of information, as well as a highlighted map, as soon as we checked in. They offered us coffee each morning which we wish we had taken them up on, but we were always too hungry! Great location, room, and hospitality. Highly recommend! Xem tiếp

The room is amazing and right next to all the tourist strip and about 20 mins from all the museums and sights. There are other reviews here complaining it’s hard to find, it’s not really, especially as she gives you a welcome email with instructions. Be prepared to start hunting down the alleys Vy and her cousin are what made the stay a 10/10 for us, as they were wonderfully helpful and kind, gave us a map and a welcome drink and talked us through the sights and things to do / avoid. One of the best nights sleep we’ve had, really comfortable and well worth the money. Thanks for having us! Xem tiếp

Great place to stay in district 1 they took care of like family. I got sick and they made sure I was ok. Even offered to make me soup. Place was clean and had everything I needed while I was there. We've stayed with Vy's 2 years ago and enjoyed our stay and stayed for 3 nights this time and loved it! The location, value for money, and the care that Vy and her family gave to me and my girlfriend was genuine. Amazing stay and will surely back for the third time, maybe 2 years from now? Ps. Positives: Vy, Vy, Vy- She and her parents are extremely helpful and lovely. Quiet and central location, Clean room and bathroom. Very comfy bed. Fridge in room. No pressure to buy tours or anything else. Negatives: It is difficult to state any negatives and hope that no offence is taken as the family are so lovely and try to help in every way. Best choice for a budget traveler. This is a second comment. We stayed one night here and booked for another night. But there was a sick traveller in our booked room. So the manager arranged a room for us (owned by her relatives, less clean and narrower). Anyway, she did her best helping the sick girl and arranging a room for us, which shows her generisity. The woman owner is exstremely friendly - she will give you a map with all sightseeng and good places highlited and can help you with any question which you ask. Room has hot water, tv,fridge. Room is not big but very clean. Location is not on the main street its not noisy inside. Its about 1 min from the hotel to Phang ngu lao. Definitely if we return to HoShiMinh we will stay in this hotel and i will recommend it to all friends going to HoShiMinh. Staying at Vy's was a pleasure. The owner and her family were extremely nice and helpful without any sales patter/ push invests. The hotel is off a back alley which ,at put some people off but is really quite safe and a feature in its own way. he location was VERY quiet despite Being in the heart of backpacker quarter. The family gave us a clear map of where things were - very useful. To get to the airport the 152 bus terminal is just 10 mins walk away - flat walk. far cheaper and better fun than taxi. In case this helps, think about going to The Opera House in Saigon - a pleasant and not too expensive evening out. Plants of eateries near Vy's . Very good all round. For anyone coming to this city buy bus don't freaken take a taix to the hotel we did and he drove us around for a while only to bring us almost back to the same place for $50 when u get off the bus right in frount of a mini park which is really nice just cross the street and look for the mini corner store and it will be next so a smoothie stand just go down the ally and make the first left and your there dont taxi but Great hotel and they can exchange money for u and plan tour and bus tickets Xem tiếp

It's our first time to travel in Vietnam and I must say, I was impress with how helpful and honest the owner was. She has helped us in a lot of ways. How to get around in Sai Gon, where to eat, what to do and what to be careful of. Enough information to help every guest who are struggling to around the HCMC. The place was also strategic and walking distance to almost every tourist spot in District 1. The room? It was clean, fresh everyday and no foul smell. I also appreciate the 77 cable channels.
