This is the 1st time I stayed in a 200-yr old property. It was well-kept & clean. It was value for money as it comes with free 30-min foot massage, 1hr boat ride and even dinner (home-cooked Vietnamese meal!). The staff are friendly & the guests are free to use any swimming pools in other Vinh Hung hotels in Hoi An. But be prepared for bikes honking & bustling crowds if you stay in the room facing the street. Xem tiếp

Step back in time when you stay at the Vinh Hung Heritage Hotel in the historic Old Quarter of Hoi An. From the warm welcome at the front entrance to the central open courtyard, removing your shoes to climb the stairs to the upper floor guest rooms, this hotel is charming and comfortable with modern amenities. Most staff ask too many questions. The rooms need ceiling or wall fans to circulate the air, the a/c's aren't as efficient as they could be. The walls aren't sealed and warm air leaks in and cold air out. Great location but Hoi An is getting way too crowded and has lost too much of its' appeal. Too many bars and cheap accomodations. Great location! On the main street of the old town and 1 min walk to the Covered Bridge. The room is a bit outdated, but hey, the building is more than a hundred years old, I think it’s very nicely kept, and the staffs put a lot of effort into making sure this historic building remains spotless. Although this old vintage building hotel doesn’t have any modern facilities so such as gym, swimming pool, spa, they however allows you to use those facilities in the more modern resort of the Vinh Hung Hotel chain, less than 10 min by walking. They also provide a complimentary free river boat trip, also departing from their new resort hotel. Xem tiếp

The facilities of the hotel is a bit out-of-dated since it's an antique house, which is fine. The location is perfect and in the heart of the old town. I liked the stay in this hotel and the staff are very informative and supportive. Xem tiếp

When picking a place to stay in a foreign country, stay in a wonderful setting that allows you to immerse in the culture, close to all activities in the Ol' Quarter of Hoi An. We had the best time at this Hotel our 5th trip to Hoi An and won't be our last staying here. The location is great Ving Hung Heritage is the ONLY hotel in the heart of Hoi An everything is on your door step. The staff are excellent will do anything to make your stay a memorable one. Breakfast is fantastic your own chef!!. Ting and Cherry will look after you!!!. Don't walk past or scroll past this unique Hotel. Xem tiếp

It was a very pleasant stay. I requested for a transport and the staff responded promptly. When we reached, we realised how good the location was. And with only 6 rooms in the hotel, you can rest assured that the staff will take care of you very well. The room was clean and spacious. Vinh Hung also offers free foot massage and free market experience, boat and swimming pool at their other hotel. Overall, a very nice stay! Xem tiếp

This hotel is an ancient building in the centre of Hoi An. The room was very old and creaky, but that was its charm. The only downside was the city comes alive pretty early, so a little noisy; so a sleep in was out of the question if you are in the front rooms. Xem tiếp

We stayed in the two Special Chinese rooms on the second floor (206,208) overlooking Tran Phu street for New Year's Eve, so we had the balcony to ourselves. The rooms are large and well appointed, but it can be noisy with the motorbikes and people walking by. But motorbike traffic is restricted to certain hours and its pretty quiet at night. The balcony is great for people watching and having a glass of wine. The hotel is an authentic Chinese trader's house (only 6 guest rooms) and furnished in period antiques. This is not a resort or a place for kids, but if you want a great atmosphere and a sense of history, stay here - one night is enough. Its close to everything - probably the best location in town, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Its definitely worth the experience. Xem tiếp

we booked two of the six rooms but had to ask to be transferred out of one due to dampness. all rooms are made out of old wood so expect to get the accompanied musky smell. our kids were quite sick with tummy bugs when we got here but the staff did their best to make their stay comfortable. This is a must visit hotel. Staff also bend over backwards to be accommodating. Nice touch is that a guest may use the facilities, such as the swimming pool, fitness centre of the sister Vin Hung hotels. Xem tiếp

this hotel is essentially a refurbished house of an old chinese family of hoi an. basically it is like back to the past, how much more can you ask for? that is what great about visiting hoi an, to experience the old charm of a south east asian port city. every morning i just sat at the 2nd floor balcony and look down to the old street, had my cold beer and see time slowly passed away. that is the best feeling. vinh hung 1 just enhanced that experience for us, the location is just off the japanese bridge, 2-3 min walk. and there are restaurant of various pricing just around 10-15 mins walking radius. the concierge and everyone else are great, they serve you as if you are part of the family, not a hotel guest per se. you can see a bit of wear and tear to the rooms, it is time for the owner to do some small reno. not much, just some touching up will do fine... probably because i was an architect, i see things people don't? me and my wife are active hashers and great travellers. we have been travelling on a frequent basis to see different cultures,peoples, tribes and visited many countries.we have experienced stayng in 1 star up to 5star hotels but ving hung 1 hotel in hoi an vietnam is worth commenting.inspite of being a very old hotel with only 6 rooms all structures,flooring,walling,furnitures ect, were all constructed of mahagony timber which can be considered antique, they are well maintained,clean and room interior are real cosy. the few staffs are friendly and their ever willing to smile when we talk to them are an asset to the hotel.when asked where is the best place to eat cao lau and fried hoanh thanh[wonton]the staff without hesitation told us the shop and drew us the locality map direction.breakfast was satisfactory.we strongly this hotel to those who want to experience the hotel ambience with a difference. A lovely quaint boutique hotel, furnished with old classic chinese furniture and situated in the ancient town, where all the good eats and shopping are. Despite the musty odor from age, it was still a pleasant experience for the family. The water pressure in bathroom was fine, linens were clean, noise level was ok (suite room was in the back, second level) and a/c worked perfectly. The room is quite spacious, and ample lighting fixtures which illuminate the otherwise dark environment. I would suggest for the bath towels to be thicker and instruction manual provided for the old model in-room safe. I struggled with the safe and before long, the alarm went off which sent the staff running to our room (definitely secure!). Just a few min stroll to the river. Xem tiếp

This hotel is a traditional merchants house in a very central position in the Old Town of Hoi An. The rooms are very comfortable with all the mod cons (but in a very traditional style). The front rooms can be very noisy as the on a very busy street so I suggest that you try for one of the backrooms (I recommend Room 101). The staff are excellent, very friendly and efficient. You could not get a more beautiful or traditional hotel than this. Our group were very impressed with the atmosphere and location of this hotel. Xem tiếp
