The owner Happy is absolutely fantastic and you could not wish to stay in a nicer place whilst in Ho Chi Minh. Great location (just behind the backpacker area so in the mix but very quiet), great staff who were incredible helpful and couldn't do enough for us including our laundry which came back smelling amazing, and the rooms were large with comfy beds and nice bathrooms. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about this hotel. We would most definitely stay here again. Xem tiếp

We had a good stay at the Vinh Chung hotel. The owners are a wonderful family, very kind and very helpful. The location is good but very loud with people partying and thumping music at night so bring earplugs. We stayed in the top floor room and for the amount we paid felt it was great value. Xem tiếp

Not to hard to find as long as you have Google maps as it is tucked away down an alley. Lovely friendly lady who runs the hotel. Be aware there is no elevator like most of the hotels in this area, we were on the 5th floor so had quite a climb each night but it's good for you anyway so we didn't mind. No kitchen on site but there are dozens of places to eat within a 1 minute walk. Xem tiếp

We enjoyed our stay at Vinh Chung Hotel very much. We arrived at 5 am (!) in the morning, and give it a shot to check in so early. The Hotel itself was closed, but we rang the bell and the owner opened us. She had slept to whole night at the reception, just because of us (we have contacted her the day before and told her that we will arrive by bus so early)! So she gave us a pillow, blankets and we could get some hours of sleep. She would have give us our room also, but it was still occupied. Later we get our room, and there was nothing to complain about: clean, spacious, with a nice great balcony. The location of the hotel is very central, so we could walk to every other location (Museum, tourist office etc.). Thanks for a great stay! Xem tiếp

The owner Happy is very friendly and helpful. She bought us coffee at our arrival as we were waiting for our room. She makes you feel part of her lovely family and is very eager to help with anything. Also she doesn't take commission which is something we spent a lot of money on in other hotels. Great value and exceeds what I would expect from a 1-star hotel. Room was very clean, good sized and had a flat screen TV. Xem tiếp

Our stay at the hotel was by far the most hospitable one. The customer service was outstanding! The owner and her staff would take their time in explaining what great things there are to do in Vietnam. They also gave useful information on what cabs to catch and how much to barter. The room was good for the price we paid however be aware of the noise level from the side streets - as it is the price you pay for the grand location in district 1. Also be warned about the lack of elevator. Overall this was an awesome place to stay and great dollar value for people on a budget or if you want to be close to all the action in Ho Chi Minh Xem tiếp

Saigon was the last point in Vietnam for me and my husband, travelling all the way from the north to the south and stopping by at different places. We arrived to Ho Chi Minh at midnight and Happy was super nice to organize an airport pick up for us and met us in person in the hotel. Friendly, open and positive she definitely contributed to our experience of Saigon. Location of the hotel is pretty central, rooms are basic and clean. Great balance of price and quality! Outgoing atmosphere and helpful people is something that we really value. Happy helped us out with renting a motorbike and explaining where it's worth going. Narrow street (where the hotel is) hidden from the outside world has its own charm. So if you are not a picky person spoiled by 4*-5* accommodation, than you will find this place lovely and you don't need to look for other hotels! There are some green areas near by and numerous cafes and street shops that get completely different look in the evening hours! ps. Happy, thank you so much for your positive energy! Xem tiếp
