Stay was great. Manager was very friendly, allowed me to check in early since I arrived very early in the morning. Breakfast was included and was brought to me everyday on my porch which was a really nice touch. Had a great stay. Staff ,very helpful but not pushy. Room very clean, sheets changed every day. Easy walk to beach. Ate dinner at the restaurant and it was the best meal we had on the island. Would definitely stay here again. Xem tiếp

We stayed five nights in The Palm Tree Guest House and are very happy with our choice of accommodation. The Palm Tree is originally a family-run restaurant with glowing reviews. They have added a few guest rooms to the restaurant in 2012. The rooms are basic but large and clean, have aircon, TV and equally large bathrooms. Mattress is hard but that is very common in Vietnam and we found it actually quite comfortable. Our room was clean and had access to a small terrace with table and chairs. The standard rooms are behind the restaurant and are very quiet. There is free wifi which worked fine. Although not directly on the beach, the Palm Tree Guest House is in a very convenient location on Long Beach. Being directly across from La Veranda Hotel's front gate it is very easy to find and a public path takes you to the beach in a short 2 min walk. The beach in that area was rather clean since it is next to high end resorts such as La Veranda. There are quite a few restaurants, bars and small shops within walking distance. The town center is a short bike or taxi ride away. Best thing about Palm Tree is the family who runs the place. They are very nice and helpful and speak very decent English. The food at the restaurant is very good, always fresh and tasty though the portions are somewhat on the smaller side. The included breakfast is basic, in line with what you'd get from other budget hotels in Vietnam. All in all we had a great stay at The Palm Tree Guest House and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for cheap, basic but very friendly accommodation in Phu Quoc. Xem tiếp

We stayed here for 4 nights with 3 rooms in 2 separate bungalows. The owners and staff were wonderful and helpful. The made to order breakfasts, prompt cleaning of rooms, calling taxis, arranging tours, and sharing local knowledge made our stay comfortable and restful. We were especially touched when my wife forgot her custom water bottle and the owner drove over to the Phu Quoc airport to drop it off, refusing to take any money. We will definitely be back! The room was very clean, garden view was awesome. The location is quiet but close to the beach and great places to eat. In particular, the family who runs the place are some of the friendliest hosts ever! Also, the restaraunt right outside the property has free cocktail happy hour so you can walk right out and have dinner and some good free cocktails. Xem tiếp

This is a small family-run affair, and they are absolutely wonderful. They are super helpful and kind. The bungalows are spacious, clean with a comfortable king-size bed and a lovely porch with lounge chairs for those quiet evening hours. Ideally located, 2 minutes walking from the main road, 3 minutes walking from the beach, with many small eateries and bars in the immediate area. Bungalows are set back from the road so it remains quiet and calm. They have a garden view, of beautiful fruit trees and tropical plants and orchids that the family takes good care of. Cleaning occurs daily! And they gave us fresh water bottles everyday, as well. Mini-fridge, air con, fan and good wifi are all added perks to these lovely bungalows. I highly recommend this place. Causy and very clean room in a peaceful place. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaruant is one of the best we had on the island and goes with a competitive price. Guesthouse is located only 5 min walk from the Long Beach (really nice part of the beach). It pays off to take a room with no breakfast included (cheaper and wider choice in the restaurant). Xem tiếp

The place is neat and clean. It is on the back of a small street so no disturbance. The service is ok but not over helping ( i had to wash my kids sheet because they draw accidentally on it with washable pens). Very hard bed. We requested asian breakfast and that was very good pho. The price is however very high for south eat asia, i strongly not recommend to book on agoda or others because you will pay added price. This is apparently the case in most of phu qoc and not limited to this place. We double check on the guesthouses in that street and find out walkin in price are about 30% cheaper than agoda or booking ( and negotiable ...) Xem tiếp

Location is good as it is quiet and not far from beach. Bed are very hard. Tenant are ok. The place is standard and very bad value for money compare to other place in South East Asia but it seems it is all over Phu Qoc. We checked all the hotels in that area and they surcharge you 30% when you book by Internet (Agoda or other). Xem tiếp

I had a great stay! The place is very close to te beach, rooms are well decorated and clean. Staff is amazing! All of them are very nice! Breakfast was a delicious surprise! Would definately recommend it! Nothing negative about it! Just great! Xem tiếp

A good location if you don't want to pony up for the beachfront hotels, quaint environs and lots of small shops around -- including an ATM, scooter rental and minimarts, restaurants and a bakery. Also, it's located at the right part of Long Beach -- the path to the beach lands you right next to Rory's Bar and the best sand (going north up toward Duong Dong is the best quality). Staff at Palm Tree are very friendly, breakfast is decent, and their restaurant makes some good food. Xem tiếp

The rooms are simple, but complete in everything you need for a nice experience in Phu Quoc. Although this hotel is not right on the beach, it's a very short walk, and makes getting to the beach even more fun. The hotel is staffed by a friendly family, and even more important, the hotel is close to everything you need for a great stay in phu quoc - motorbike rental, great restaurants - especially the Bistro restaurant up to the street - not to be missed.
