A true local Saigon experience. The place is very central. It is almost next door to a famous “banh xeo” place, and there are a lot of restaurants/shops nearby. The host couple are amazing. They are hospitable and very supportive. There was no elevator in the building, but they helped me carry my luggage to my room. And provided me with a lot of useful information. Recommended. Xem tiếp

I will start with the positive, our flight was delayed and we checked in close to midnight which they accommodated and helped us out. The WiFi password did not work on 3 laptops and iPhones, the bed was ok but pillows (only 2 thin ones) and the bedspread were rather dated. The room was not clean but the worst part was the construction noise on the adjacent building, it was mind numbing. Xem tiếp

We had a wonderful stay at The Nguyens Cafe! Our room was clean and nice and well air conditioned and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Ben, Su, and the woman who runs the show around the corner were fantastic. Thanks again Nguyens Cafe!! Xem tiếp

I had a great time staying at Ben’s Cafe! He was so friendly and helpful, it was if I were meeting an old friend in Ho Chi Minh. The room was very clean and everything of high service. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked well. The bathroom had hot water and was very comfortable to use. Ben was very helpful in organizing tours for me and whenever I ran into trouble. He was very patient and understanding. I felt like I could always count on him as a host. Ben’s Auntie was also very friendly despite the language barrier. She was very attentive to guests’ needs when it came to food, room cleaning, etc. I would definitely stay at Ben’s place again the next time around. I don’t think you’ll find a more attentive host than Ben in Ho Chi Minh. Xem tiếp

Easy to get to by Airport bus 109. Cross two major streets to get there. Near to market and food stalls. Near the Singapore frogs legs porridge open only at night for 60000 dong. Better than original. Can take bus to Ben Thanh though walk right on the main street for a little and the clothes there are downright so cheap that no need to bargain. About 80000 dong for Understanding or Nike T-shirt instead of the usual tourist price of about 150000 dong. Xem tiếp

Great place, quite and comfortable. Coffee shop pleasantly located at ground floor. Must try local ice coffee. Sue who owns he place is a lovely young lady who can assist with booking tours and information that you may need. Recommended. Xem tiếp

I stayed for 11days and I've got a lot of help from host Su. Room was cleaned and tidy. Host is very kindly. Many restaurants are near from hotel. De tham is little bit far but no problem if you use uber. Xem tiếp

The quaint café and accommodation are in a great location in quiet laneways, with local life to explore but close to the cathedral and market. Ben is always available for info or advice and it was refreshing to share his knowledge without the sales spiel for tours etc. We had a modern, spacious room and I would gladly return for this and Ben’s genuine hospitality. Really love staying at the Nguyens. It was my first time going to Vietnam and staying at the Nguyens was the right decision for me. Ben, the owner, was really helpful and staying there was really more like staying at a friend's house than a stranger's hotel. The room was very clean, the smell of the room and the bedsheet was fresh. The amenities were one of the best! They provided big bottles of soap and shampoo from good brands. There're clean, thick towels, plenty of them though I was staying alone. There's water kettle, small fridge, and a lot of electricity sockets. I really enjoyed my stay at the Nguyens. The Vietnamese coffee in the Nguyens Cafe is truly one of the best! I even bought the coffee beans with me back home. Though they didn't provide breakfast, there's a small restaurant nearby serving grilled pork and broken rice for only VND 25 and it was really good plus the hotel staff can order it for you. The location is great since you can get great food and shops in walking distance. Getting Uber taxi is also easy since the place is across a well-known Vietnamese pancake restaurant (Banh Xeo Dinh Cong Trang). The Nguyens is truly where I will be going in my future trip to HCMC. We had a fantastic stay. Jessi is extremely friendly and welcoming, providing fantastic recommendations and suggestions for local restaurants. We stayed in a terrace studio which was lovely, on the 3rd floor the terrace was great. Very clean, comfortable & modern room on a nice quiet back Street but only minutes from the hustle and bustle. The worst hostel for the price. Do not believe in y reviews. It smell bad plillow and blanket not to be washed and the room is not clean. The sofa is dirty. When I arrived, the door was locked and I waited outside.In addition I did not see the owner and employee. A Next door woman open the room. They didn't inform me the number of wifi. Xem tiếp

A great place to stay on a visit to Ho Chi Minh. Perfectly located not too far from the airport, near great eateries / entertainment but far enough away from the tourist "strip". The hospitality shown by Ben and his entire family was exceptional. They even waited up for us until 4am (late flight arrival) to check us in. The authentic Vietnamese coffee at the cafe below is the best we have ever tried!! Ben's auntie was a delight every morning we stopped in to grab a coffee. Do yourself a favour and stay here. Staff very friendly and hospitable. Ben was especially helpful with everything from booking day trips to money exchange. The room was clean and nice bathroom. The bed was pk except mattress was a bit hard for my liking. Some construction noise from the alley below my room for first night but otherwise fairly qyfor being in that busy location.
