Trên cả tuyệt vời
Although we only stayed at this hotel for only a night, all the three of us had a really good, heart-warming experience. The hotel (more like a dorm, it's a homestay service to be exact) is located in a village about 10km from the Sapa center, and it'd cost VND200 000 - 300 000 for a taxi to go there (you can call straight to Ta Van Homestay and they'll help you get the cheapest price). The staff, also the hotel owners, welcomed us with hot tea and a short, friendly conversation. They know the place like the back of their hand, so it would save your money and improve your experience a lot to consult them before going around. Particularly, they helped us book a wonderful meal (local grilled chicken, with colored sticky rice, mmmmm so tasty you must try!). Because when we arrived it was late at night, we brought instance noodles for mid-night snacks, and they offered to cook it for free, plus lots of eggs and vegetables added. Altogether, we all were really satisfied with the customer support. As it is a homestay service, do not expect modern facilities at Ta Van. However, everything is nice and clean, including the bathroom. Bonus point: there is an amazing view of the mountains and terraced fields from the room! It is really relaxing to wake up in the morning, enjoy the view and listen to the nature's sound surrounding you.
