We picked this hotel because we wanted a pool and for the location - right in the heart of the Old Quarter of Hanoi, only about 3-5 mins to the lake. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance - so we most definitely enjoyed our stay. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast variety was decent for a small hotel (most hotels in the Old Quarter are not that big). Do note that the hotel doesn't serve food for dinner, so if you want to order room service you won't be able to do it (although reception very kindly offered to order take-out for us if we wanted - we came home late after a day tour and most restaurants were shut at 11pm). Rooms were clean and comfortable and there's a decent fridge (good for keeping your beverages cold - good for hot days) and coffee-making facilities. Pool was a bit small and gym facilities and space were limited - but then again the overall area of the building was small, so understandable. Overall we would recommend this place. Xem tiếp

We arrived late evening and was greeted and assisted promptly to the check-in desk. The check-in process was brief and courteous. The location is excellent, it is within 10 minutes walking to the night market, street food vendors, water-puppet theater, bus hop for city tours. The room is clean and is not worn out like many hotels in the busy city. The staff was very friendly and helpful even when we were leaving, assist us to load our luggage to the taxi. One feedback to the hotel management is we can smell 'remnant' of cigarette smoke in the hallway, perhaps coming from other rooms. This hotel has smoking rooms, which is kind of strange. Xem tiếp

This is the 2nd time visit. The positive feedback from last time made me choose here again. Facility and service are consistently good as usual. The rooftop construction of swimming pool has finished, but for reasons, the neighbor’s hen couldn’t stop humming the entire night, the noise was a little bothersome. Otherwise, the stay is perfect. The hotel is situated in the area of Hoan Kiem Lake. Only takes less than 5 min walk to the Lake and old quarter. The facility is nice with small gym and swimming pool, and the breakfast is my favorite. We're lucky enough to be upgraded to top floor room. At the end, I left my coat in the room after check-out, since I've already got to the airport, the front desk staff was very generous to arrange the delivery to my friend in town. I had a really positive experience at Sunline Paon and special thanks to all the friendly staff there. By the time rooftop renovation finishes, this placewill be even better to live in. Xem tiếp

Hospitality from the hotel staff was exceptional, rooms were clean and modern and amenities worked well. We also booked a day tour to Halong Bay through the hotel that was well planned with a knowledgable tour guide. Breakfast selection can be improved but besides that everything was great! Xem tiếp

Very friendly staff. Very comfy beds. Good shower. Good air conditioner. Great location. Just a few blocks from the Hoam Kiem Lake. The lake area comes alive at night and is a fascinating place. Hanoi is very vibrant and we prefer it to HCM. I could write a book on Hanoi but go experience it for yourself. Our hotel was great and I recommend you pay the extra for the larger rooms with a balcony as great to watch the streets below. Breakfast was ok but it is Vietnam and they are still trying to learn about some western foods. The best coffee at breakfast and the hottest! Shop around for tours to Halong as I thought the one we booked through the hotel was overpriced and over exaggerated in the picture book they supply. Xem tiếp

We booked into the Sunline Paon at short notice. The service was excellent throughout our stay. We were able to check in to 2 rooms early. Hotel is new, clean & in a great location in the Old Quarter. Nice rooftop area with small pool. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Really nice bedrooms with excellent WiFi & Tv services. Staff were so attentive & helpful. They even gave us a complimentary airport shuttle due to a very minor issue with the booking process. A special mention for Long who was great. Great location on the outskirts of the Old Quarter, 2 minute walk to the lake. Good sized rooms, clean with comfortable beds. Rooms with windows may not always be to the street. Our room had one window which faced the window of the adjoining room with 1 metre of inside garden in between. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was plentiful with many choices. No cons, great staff , location and facilities. Fairly recent renovation. I even took the public bus from the airport as the minivan driver wanted 7 us. The stop I got off was about 150 meters away. Xem tiếp

Great location and very helpful staff. They upgraded us to a lovely room with a very particular designed big window and was very appreciated. The breakfast was very good. Terrace is nice with a little pool and good view of the city. Highly recommended. Xem tiếp
