We only stayed for 2 nights to visit Halong Bay, because it was closer to Hai Phong. It takes less than an hour and a half. We hired a car from the hotel for the whole day and had a tour guide as well. Just remember the Vietnamese name of the hotel - Sao Ben. It took us awhile to look for hotel when it was only 5 mins from the Airport. Xem tiếp

I and my girlfriend have a nite here.. The hotel is 4 star but i really dont know what is the standard for 4 star..the room looks old, not too dirty but the facility is not nice and old too. We asked for renting a bike in 2 hours just for going out to have dinner, the receptionist offered us 250,000 Vnd/2 hours then when my girl friend refused for such expensive price, he tried to reduce the price to 200,000VND. We decided to not rent bike more but when we were in room, even he tried to call to our room and looked for negotiating with 200,000 VND price.. just only that small action but make us feel uncomfortable and consider about the honesty of staff there..Usually we rent bike in Hanoi is only 120,000VND/day.. Never come back here and not recommend. Please consider when book your trip in this hotel. Xem tiếp

The room quite old and less toilet amenities. Air-condition old and not cooling enough. Hotel staffs are fair English communication. Only location that on the main street and not far from new Haiphong airport. Xem tiếp

This is my first time in Sea Star hotel. I've got very friendly and nice support about hotel car for bring me from Hanoi Airport and that of course round trip in last day. I spent 4 days over there and i like that hotel. Price is reasonable and there have local restaurant that cooking good foods. Xem tiếp

check in was slow and the front office staff doesn't look friendly. overall the stay is OK but just another Vietnamese standard hotel and don't expect too much. nothing much within the hotel and Parkson and Big C is 3km away. Xem tiếp

It was a lovely hotel to stay in with the best of service, the staff spoke good english and did their very best to help us with our enquiries. We booked this hotel because we thought it would be close to Ha Long bay but we were wrong, it was still quite a mission to get there. Xem tiếp

Good stay, nice and clean room, there isn't much choices in Haiphong City but I think this hotel is good compared to the rest. The front desk staffs were really nice and helpful, assisting our request for late check out which we really appreciate. Breakfast is good as well. However we saw a little worm in the pool so it is quite a turn off, but if you are not swimming then it is fine. Massage is not so good too and the masseuse asked for too much tip, more than the cost of the massage alone. 400,000 dong for tip claiming that the hotel do not pay them for the massage they give? Whatever it is, we will definitely return to the hotel for the comfort of the stay but not use the amenities (Spa & Pool) Xem tiếp

it was a good stay at the hotel. we like the location, rooms are big, clean and well-kept. the only disadvantage was that there was no safety-deposit box in the room which made our stay a little bit worrysome. breakfast was not bad at all for vietnam. in the whole the food was satisfactory. one big problem was hot water - you had to run the tab for 10-15 minutes before taling the shower for the water to be warm at least. It was our second stay in the hotel. We liked it due to its location as we had to go to Hai Phong Port every day. We were quite satisfied with almost everything - rooms, service, food. The other thing which attracted us was the swimming pool - though small,it was quite refreshing after a busy hot day - till the last day of our stay... when my husband slept on the stairs (tiled with sharp edges) and broke his rib. There was no precaution sign or any kind of warning there! We had no time to make a claim or something as we had to rush to the airport to catch the flight... Xem tiếp
