Location location and location. Breakfast is a choice between 2 either noodles (which tastes good as per my sister) or bread (fresh bread)and egg. It's walking distance to the main park that's why I say location but there are many other hotels/hostels around the area. Xem tiếp

We stayed for 3 nights. The location is wonderful...it is about a 2 minute walk to the docks and ticket booth for the cave/boat tours. Very very handy. The room was big, plenty of counter space, large bathroom, lots of electrical outlets, good A/C, lots of hot water, decent wifi, very clean. They were in the process of remodeling and doing a very good job. Freshly painted. Decor all seemed new. Largest bathroom with lots of counter space in our 5 months in Asia. However, the staff seemed much more interested in sitting around the dining tables and talking or using their phones. They spoke very little English and it was very hard to try to communicate with them....even with hand gestures. One day, the maid only gave us fresh towels.....didn't even hang them up nicely. The bed wasn't tidied for us. The trash was not emptied once during our 3 night stay. The eating area is in a covered patio/reception area (outside) with a beautiful view of the river. But the tables weren't cleaned promptly. We often had to ask them to take the dishes and clean the table cloth so we could have a decent table to use. The staff did arrange a cab to pick us up the morning we left and until it showed up, we weren't quit sure it had been arranged. All in all, we liked the room, but the staff could definitely improve their performance. It seemed to be just a job to them with no pride in their work....seemed very lazy. Xem tiếp

I had to stay in this town because I was doing a cave tour (Oxalis) and it might be one of the nicest hotels in town - BUT that doesn't mean it's luxurious! Staff had poor English and if you wanted help, you had to seek them out. While the rooms were big and clean, the sheets were so rough! It really bothered me that the hotel chose to spend money on nice flat screen TVs instead of upgrading the sheet thread count. I get the feeling westerns might pay more, so if you are confortable not making a reservation and showing up day of (unless there is a holiday!) go for it. Xem tiếp

Unfortunately the accommodations were not clean - insect feces on the walls, mouse dirt on the floors, a crumpled toothbrush was on the vanity from the previous guest and accumulated dirt under the bed that I saw when I moved my bed away from the wall because of the geckos on the walls. The staff at best were indifferent to the fact that they had guests. We were given no choices with a breakfast menu and were presented with two very well done fried eggs with a baguette while we saw other guests enjoying pho. A major disappointment but apparently they are in the process of rebuilding after considerable flood damage last year. Xem tiếp
