My booking was from June 8-11. I was assigned room 302. There are many issues to address: 1) Whenever I bathe, the whole shower floor will be flooded. The shower head also leaks water too from end. 2) The toilet area is too small and cramped. 3) The rooms are one way locked type, meaning there are no visible locks when seen from inside room. 4) The aircon is broken and rusty. 5) Curtains are golden yellow, meaning bright sunlight enters at 6am. 6) No lift from reception to ground floor, hence need to walk up and down steep stairs everytime guests enter/leave hotel. This poses a problem for travellers with problem knees like myself. On June 9, about 1am, there was constant slamming of doors from neighbouring room. The doors are definitely not soundproof. I saw a big cockroach with wings inside room. No proper room cleaning. On June 10, I requested room change as I wanted a better room with working aircon and cleaner room. I was assigned room 202. Turned out room 202 was similar. There was no power socket near fridge to plug in the power connector for fridge. On June 10 evening, receptionist spoke in English and demanded me pay 200k as I forgot to return key for room 302 and brought it outside. I explained to him in Vietnamese I truly forgot to return the key. There were also no free mineral water inside room. I believe water should be provided as it is a necessity item for all travellers, In conclusion, I won't return to this hotel again, terribly disappointed. Xem tiếp

On June 13, I booked deluxe room in this hotel. On arrival at about 12.10am, ,male receptionist taff took 15 minutes to locate my booking. He asked if I am Mr Sim and I replied yes. He then told me to wait while he 'attempted' to locate my booking when it was obvious he already had my booking in the computer system. After 15minutes, staff told me no more deluxe room, only have standard room(smaller than deluxe) , room number 203 and asked if I wanted to take that room. I replied ok as I had no other choice. Staff then asked for $320k Vietnam dong. upfront for the standard room. I was shocked as I ALREADY PAID my booking in Agoda. He also kept my girlfriend's and my passport in reception even though I have PAID for the booking. I noted staff also did not refund balance of price between Deluxe and Standard room. Also 30 minutes later after checkin, staff knocked on door loudly when I was in shower. Utterly disappointed with this hotel. Hotel name is Hoang Dai Gia. Xem tiếp
