So many great things about this place, it's hard to know where to start. The owners and their lovely family were so nice - really interesting themselves and interested in their guests. They went out of their way to be informative and were genuinely friendly without at all overdoing it. The Farmstay is in a beautiful setting and the place is comfortable with a relaxed vibe. There is a lovely pool which did get a bit noisy with screaming kids having a whale of a time - but, you know, that's what kids do. Being picky, it might be nice to have a smaller pool round the corner for non-screamers! If you're not an adventurer who wants to spend every moment exploring all of the caves (I'm not), there aren't a million other things to do, but plenty to keep me going for 4 days. Although the Phong Nha cave with the boat trip was awesome. Coming from Hanoi, I found it odd not to be able to call a Grab whenever I felt like it, but the Farmstay people make it as easy as possible to get round this. Go for the walk round the village and have a cafe sua and also go for cocktails at Mama D's in the town (she's great). Xem tiếp

The Phong Nha Farmstay was easily the best organized, most community minded business I have ever encountered. The owners along with every single member of their staff are invested in making certain that visitors have a great experience in every way. I will be returning in the future with family and friends. We extended our stay for an extra night but if we hadn't booked and paid to be somewhere else we would have stayed longer. Farmstay is set in a farming village with an outlook over rice fields. The farmestay itself has beautiful gardens making it a really relaxing and peaceful place to stay, there is a shuttle bus into town or bicycles to use. The rooms were clean and lovely. They have great amenities including a swimming pool & sauna and open fire to keep you warm in the cooler months. The staff are fabulous, especially Mai and Hien, they have no problem going out of their way to help you with anything you ask and it is done with a smile. The food was fabulous and well priced, a few nights a week they have a chefs 8 course meal which is a great way to not only taste a variety of food but to meet people too. The chef's food is wonderful and we especially loved the waitress, Sau but all the staff were happy & helpful. The farmerstay is extremely environmentally conscious & proactive Xem tiếp

This place was a highlight on our trip to Vietnam. It has really knowledge staff who can build itineraries for you, the pool and common area are beautiful, rooms are comfortable and clean, and the farm stay seeks to build connections with guests and the surrounding community. The best! Xem tiếp

We stayed two nights in farmstay then opted for a third night. We were moved to Ninhs cottage (Huge room, king sized bed, out door bathroom) fantastic. Just 200m away from Farmstay and all of its facilities. Xem tiếp

It’s not every day you get a personal tour two days in a row from the hotel owner, but honestly if that hadn’t happened his hotel was beautiful serene calm and tucked away amongst world class caving and jungles. Come here we will again Xem tiếp

After a pleasant welcome we were invited to our family room which was basic but very clean and convenient. We liked the lay back atmosphere and the hospitality of the staff, like Hien and the others. They have a great restaurant and bar with reasonable prices. We loved the excursions provided by the Farm stay team. We would love to come back here again. Xem tiếp

The Phong Nha Farmstay is a bit far from the National Park, but they have a great shuttle service which allows residents to very easily go to the phong nha village. The food is great, the swimming pool is a huge plus and the rooms were amazing. The place owner has been really helpful, giving us advices on how to leave phong nha, what tour to choose, etc. 10/10 would recommend. Xem tiếp

We had a great stay at Phong Nha Farmstay but it started out a little confusing as we were actually not on the main site and in another property as part of their community programme which was a short bike ride away. After a long train ride to get there and travelling with my husband and mother, who had not ridden a bike in 30 years (!), it was not what we were expecting when we first arrived. Definitely check with the management before booking if this might be an issue for you. Totally support the ethos of bedding into the community though, and great that a local family can benefit from us staying in their home - just a communication and booking issue! Phong Nha Farmstay main site is lovely, with a stunning view of mountains and paddy fields from the pool and restaurant, amazing food and really friendly staff. Xem tiếp

The natural beauty of area is so fantastic. Phong Nha Farmstay is in the rural area looking out over the valley farmlands and the hills of the national park. It is not in the "town" but only a few KM away easily reached by car or bike. There is also a free shuttle that runs a few times a day back and forth through town and around through to the Farmstay. Not a high end resort but very comfortable, several options now for rooms/bungalows and good food. A really nice dinning area overlooking the pool and the valley. Great service and very nice staff with good English skills. Ben and his wife have worked really hard to make it a great stay and it shows. Thank you for a wonderful time. Xem tiếp

This farmstay is a beautiful place in the rural countryside. No worry, transportation is provided by free bicycles, sidecar motorcycle or shuttle to go to town or other places around Phong nha. The staff is proactive in meeting your every desire whether it be a meal, cocktail, bicycle, ride, towel for the beautiful pool. Each morning the owner takes guests on a countryside walk and describes village life. Later he provides an area historical talk. This is a very romantic place. We really enjoyed our time there. We stayed 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Although you are 8 kms from 'town' , there are regular daily shuttles which make it really convenient to get there or you can use one of their bikes for free or hire a scooter which they helped arranged. The staff were friendly and professional . They helped us organise tours, transportation, etc.. and recommended really good places to visit and eat. The view from the pool is stunning and really something special. The quiet setting was the perfect place to relax and unwind after the hustle-bustle of Hoi an. My wife and I were not sure where to go after and Guilliome (sp?) the manager gave us excellent recommendations which were off the regular tourist paths. He is doing a great job there with the staff as well as Uta, who was there the first couple of days. If you are looking for something different than the usual touristy trek, give Phong Nha farmstay a visit! Xem tiếp
