We stayed here just for one night, wanted to stay longer but it was fully booked. They helped us search another hotel, also even wenn we didn't stay there anymore we booked a tour of over them. They are so helpful and friendly! The room we stayed in was small without outside window but got everything needed, had a nice warm shower! We recommend this place for your stay in Ho Chi Minh. Our group is composed of 4 adults and we booked this hotel because its budget friendly and relatively near to some of the tourist spots. We stayed there for 4 days and we were not disappointed. The hotel is a bit hard to find at first since it is located in an inner road which is accessible by an alley from the main road. the alley is a bit scary-looking at first but the people there are quite friendly to tourist so don't worry. They even helped us find our hotel when we arrived there around 3 or 4 am. Pros: 1. Staff (specially the man in the front desk) is super friendly and accommodating. He tried to accommodate all our request for our tours and suggested ways to get the best out of our time in vietnam. He even did an extra mile by bringing my friend (via his motorbike) to a money exchange where the rate is higher than the others. 2. Accessible. A huge park is located near the hotel where you can walk around, do some exercise, do some sports such as badminton or volleyball, or just mingle with the people. Different kinds of restau, cafes, tea houses and fast food are also nearby (specifically burger king) which can be your quick fix when your hungry. 3. Room. The room is big enough for the four of us and we have lots of spaces to put our shopped items. 4. Free WiFi. 5. Beverages in their front desk bar (a small personal ref) is a bit cheap compared to others. 6. Breakfast. Food is local Vietnamese breakfast with free flowing Vietnamese coffee and orange juice. Their food is simple yet heavy. Cons: 1. No elevator. Our room is located on the fourth or sixth floor and yes we climb up and down their staircase every time we need (or forget) something downstairs! 2. Cant turn on the TV. Well we actually dont mind this one, we're there to explore their country and the only reason we tried to open it is due to our curiosity. in the hotel's defence, we didnt even tried to ask them how to open it. =) Overall this hotel hits the spots just right and the people working t Xem tiếp

It was a great stay. The location is very strategic. It is located at the quiet alley nearby the busy bui vien n pham ngu lao streets, so I was able to enjoy the nightlife and had a good night sleep too. The staff were very helpful too. We only stayed one night here due to flight out next morning and it was perfect for this use. The brekky was basic being omelette and bread roll with banana and coffee. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. The hotel is situated in a lane so no traffic noise from motorbikes, however we were woken up several times during the night from noisy people coming and going not really being considerate of others. Have a good stay at this hotel and the staff able communicate a good english, just little disappointed i get twins bed instead of double bed as I only stay alone. The hotel room are average OK and there is no lift at this hotel, so do not request high floor otherwise it will took a lot energy to climb up to reach the room. got a single room with no window, and it was adequate for my needs. the fridge didn't work but no issues for me. There was also some ants crawling on the wall and random sightings on the table, but that didn't bother me much. There's no lift so you have to take the stairs if you are staying on the upper levels which is for certain. Heavy baggage have to be lifted by a pulley system. Friendly staff, good location walking location to Bui Vien which is a really havoc place. Staff was helpful, and helped arranged a tour to Cu Chi tunnels before my arrival. Xem tiếp

All the staff was really helpful and friendly and very fluent in speaking in English. They also provide tour packages which are affordable. Food was also very good even if there wasn’t any rice. Location is just near the restaurants. Even if there was no elevator in the hotel..overall services was great! Will definitely recommend it to friends. Thank you! Xem tiếp

There’s free breakfast (simple eggs/bread/instant noodles) but honestly could find better breakfast on the streets. Rooms were clean. Not the greatest ventilation but for $20/ night for a double bed with washroom it’s hard to complain. A block away from Bui Vien street but a good distance that you do not hear the loud music if you wanted an early night in. Xem tiếp

With the price, it's really a value for money hotel. The location is superb. It's safe, clean, the staff can speak English very well! They were very responsive and quick in responding to your email. As for the breakfast, they provide a standard breakfast. If you still have the time to go out in the morning to buy breakfast, probably better to eat out. You might want to order airport transfer with them as the hotel is a bit difficult to find (it's located inside an alley). You also might want to order the tour through them. no elevator but they use a cord lift to get your luggage upstairs. primitive but fun. you should expect a good workout going up and down the stairs. family own and run and speaks very good english. clean and cheapest for the location. loud, but you're in the heart of Saigon and back packer area, so its expected. accessible through an alley but easily found. i prepaid my reservation and checkout was a breeze. This is my 2nd time staying at Phan Lan 2 Hotel this year. First time was 4 people in one room, second time was 3 people. Returned to this place as I loved it very much! Here's why: (1) Good location- walkable to Ben Tanh + no.26 banh mi (2) Park across the street. Lots of locals hanging out everyday (3) staff are friendly and will go out of the way to help - bookings / recommendations aplenty. Look for Tien, he is amazing (4) rooms are clean (5) located in backpackers alley- quiet at night for rest (6) breakfast is not too bad. Really enjoyed my fourban nights here. Walking distance to a lot of main attractions and plenty of restaurants/street food options right outside. It's in a quite alley (which made if feel safer to me) but right around the corner from the main street. The staff is great. I was staying in Phan Lan 2 Hotel for two nights. It's really centrally located. There is a good breakfast, and lovely, helpful staff. Rooms, are quite small, but clean with good bathroom. Best value for money in this area. Definitely recommended! Xem tiếp
