Cruise was good!! Food could’ve been better - was a bit strange and not all that great.. but it did the trick! The announcements in the rooms are outrageously loud, literally blew my head off! Also, not great if you’re on there for 2 nights and want a lay in on the second day and are awoken by an announcement telling you about the activities you did the day before! We went on the 3 day, 2 night cruise and have taken away only superlative memories. The accommodations were fabulous, with dark wood and huge windows to view the beautiful scenery. My husband and I paid a couple of extra $$ for the best suite and are glad we did. We had a beautiful private deck outside of our cabin where we drank our complimentary wine and felt the breeze. The staff is superb, amongst the kindest I ever have had the pleasure to meet. They kept our schedules straight and shepherded all of the guests safely and with a smile. The food was incredible. We never had time to get hungry and didn't lack for anything's ng if we did. I would recommend this cruise a hundred times over. I will return the first chance I get! Xem tiếp

expensive for vietnam. dinner takes forever to be served. they have happy hour outside of meal time but apart from that its basically always on. stupid to not include meal time. dinner choices are very european, was expecting seafood. they talk too much on the island stops. Xem tiếp

I travelled with my husband and I reckon 2 days 1 night package is sufficient. We stayed in the Royal Suite Ocean Full View cabin and it was lovely - good view and private outdoor deck. The activities were well planned and not too rush. Day 1 - pearl farm, kayaking or pearl shopping, swimming in the sea or hiking (worth the hike for a breathtaking view of Ha Long), cooking lesson, squid fishing on boat. Day 2 - cave walk. Food was good and tasty - buffet lunch, set dinner, a light buffet breakfast and brunch all included. Staff were friendly and took care of us. WiFi is weak - only can access from reception area. The site is magnificent! Nice ship and room, excellent food. Ery friendly and kind staff. We took a 2 night 3 days package, 2nd day we transfer to a day boat then come back around 4 pm. We enjoyed a lot even if weather was a little cold and rainy. However the Halong Bay is a little overcrowded with so many ships. A 4 day cruise package with lots of free time would be a welcome addition as no one else offers it. It would need more on ship entertainment like karaoke or games. Overall very enjoyable! The cruise crew helped us celebrate our engagement. That was so amazing and meaningful. Our guide on the cruise Mr.Thanh was awesome, really helpful and friendly. Activities were pretty neat, especially visiting Ti Top Island and Surprise Cave. We were completely blown away by the beauty of nature there. The next morning we did Taichi on the sun deck, enjoyed watching the limestone labyrinths. Our room in reality was as beautiful as the pictures on Agoda. However, we hope that the Wifi will be continuously connected in the room. In addition, Maitai should have been filled with more liquor than foam. Besides this, we had a great time! Xem tiếp

We did the 3 day 2 night cruise, but the overnight cruise would also be enough, it is very hot onboard, we traveled in Spril with young kids, the meals were highly sophisticated, 6 courses for dinner, too much for us & not so young child friendly but you couldn’t fault anything, we’ll run & a luxury, very relaxing Xem tiếp

My partner and I booked the suite and can honestly say it was the best decision. We had arranged to do the rest of Vietnam on the cheap and managed to get this on a great deal. The beauty of the bay, the caves, the food and the service by the staff, Thomas especially, made this trip with my son so special! We upgraded to the Royal Suite Ocean View and the large suite was worth every penny. Private deck! What??? We did all of the excursions, hikes, cooking lesson and 6:30am Tai Chi. E went on the 1 night 2day cruise. We had the best time, the trip was very orangised with a great schedule ( which ran on time) yet was still very relaxing. It is truly an amazong experience. When we went it was foggy but still the scenery was amazing. The last moment there was an issue with our room in the pelican cruise and they upgraded us for free to the azalea cruise which is of higher standards. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. However the whole schedule it too tight and every hour on the boat is scheduled and organized to the last second leaving very little time to relax and be “spontaneous” Xem tiếp

Overall a good experience on Pelican: it feels like a very professionally run operation, with a slightly old but very well maintained boat, friendly and helpful staff (despite some language barrier sometimes) who did their best to make the experience pleasant for everyone and plenty of food, fresh and of a higher quality than expected: it didn't feel like a "cheap buffet experience", though not Michelin food either of course. Overall you get what you pay for, no surprise and everything (bus pickup at hotel, boarding, meals, activities, etc.) comes on time just as planned: no surprise or stress from beginning to end, everything is executed very smoothly by professional and friendly staff. X) One thing to improve: the ground experience at the check-in booth in the harbor: once arrived from the minibus sent by the cruise company, we are handed a "welcome drink" and left sitting in a busy waiting lounge with no further explanations or spoken welcome and no idea when/how/where we'll be able to board. X) One thing to note: the cruise schedule is very busy: on the first day you barely have time to enjoy the cruise itself as activities are following each other in a very tightly orchestrated schedule. Of course there's always the option to pass on those and stay to relax on the main boat deck, though you feel like missing out. Xem tiếp
