Be absolutely sure to have a room with sea view as most rooms have view to a wall situated less than a meter from the window as another hotel has been build in front of the present hotel. Even the rooms with sea view have only a 90° sea view, rest of the view is a wall. Quite worn and some noise from street unless you get a room on 10th floor or higher. Pool on top of building is not a pool rather a big bathtub. But the view on top floor is nice. Xem tiếp

The taxi had a really difficult time finding the hotel therefore we had to pay quite a high fare because he kept getting lost or pulling over to google the address on his phone. It would help if you knew roughly or could print a map of it's location. The staff don't speak any English so even asking for a taxi for the next morning didn't really work (even though we wrote it down). They waited until we got up the next morning and were checked out to call a cab. It still made it there in 5 minutes so not a big deal, but still irratating. The room was clean, and comfy. The Air Con worked well and the shower was hot. Great for an overnight stay for a connecting flight but not alot to do otherwise nearby. Xem tiếp

I came back for a second stay shortly after my first after leaving the city for a few days. The staff were friendly as always, and my new room was equally clean. It did smell a bit smoky, so may be best to ask to see your room before committing if this bothers you. Xem tiếp

i'm in love with this placemy home away from home! i chose it based on good reviews and because it was near the airport and i was arriving in late to hcmc. i booked two nights originally and then planned to stay in district 1 (tourist area) after some time at the coast, it ended up returning here because i love this place! rooms are a good size and very clean. be aware there is no elevator, but the sweet staff will insist on taking your bags up for you. the staff do not speak much english so if that is an issue for you, be advised. the hotel is set back in a little alley way behind the main street, which has a bit of a european feel to it. nearby gia dinh park is a true gem. you won't encounter many tourists in this neighborhood, which if you're like me is a good thing. i met a couple expats living here who were friendly and invited me for tea or coffee. it's easy to get nearly anywhere in the city from here. a taxi to district 1 is about 80k vnd, or 4 usd. this is a great spot for travelers who plan to explore beyond district 1, as q. phu nhuan, where it it located is very central. Hotel is abit old. No elevator, turning on the bed got some noise. hot water spoil. abit spoilt my mood. but the staff are friendly n helpful. my wife claim hungry at night, the stuff still very willing to cook instant noodle for us. whenever we need taxi, the staff. will call for us. Xem tiếp

we had reserved 2 rooms with standard double beds, one of them with an extra bed. when we arrived (late) it was complete confusion, they only had a single room left and we were 3 persons. after a lot of discussion and a call to agoda, there was still nothing to do but accept and go to sleep. but when we came up in the room we realised that we would probably have called it a double room. in the single room there is one 160 cm bed and in the double room there are two 160 cm beds. there is nothing special about the hotel, but it's cheap and very clean and it's perfect for a night between flights. apparently there is 1 (!) restaurant in the immediate neighbourhood that serves excellent vietnamese food. be careful with the taxi you take from the airport, the one we took tried to cheat us and refused to drive with the taxameter and wanted to transfer us to another taxi with a taxameter that had been fiddled with, in the end we didn't have to pay at all, but the other family (who didn't really know how much it was) had to pay 15 usd, but their taxi driver did get lost so it took 30 min for him to find it... This hotel is not good one. It's very terrible to me. I booked the room for 3 pax, when i reached there, they only give me extra bed without any thing e.g pillow,...the room door also very bad. Xem tiếp

This hotel is great for an overnight stay but not any longer as there is nothing around the area. The room was clean,with air con and t.v. Really near the airport. Only problem was the staff didn't speak English so was hard to comunicate. Xem tiếp

only a 10min and $3.50 ride from airport (and that was a rip off price) check in went fine. room ok with a.c, fridge, good internet connection, cable tv and a comfortable bed. real bath tub in bathroom and plenty of hot water. the bathroom needed decorating and fixing up but everything worked for me. helpful staff although not all speaking english. they were good enough to wake up at 5 a.m. so they could wake me up for my flight, they arranged taxi ($3) for me. My wife and I had an overnight stay while awaiting our connecting flight to Da Nang. We chose Ngoc Vu Hotel mainly because of the low price as we were only looking for a good night's sleep. While the hotel is not fancy nor does it have alot of amenities, it is a great value considering how close it is to the airport. I would defninitely recommend this hotel to any travelers who are just stayin the night during a layover in Saigon. Friendly staff, and a comfortable bed make for a great deal. Xem tiếp
