We booked rooms with no window as it's on a good deal with Agoda. It's a nice fine room with working aircon and fan. Location is very good and safe. Several restaurants and cafe nearby. However, toilet has several cockroaches and the drainage hole under the tub didn't connect directly to the main pipe so the dirty stuff came out to the floor. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel has elevator up to 4th floor and has to walk to the 5th yourself. Restaurant on the ground floor got good Vietnamese food choices but many of them were not available when we ordered. We really enjoyed our stay at the "new hotel". Had a few issues on arrival with the room we had booked not being available. Having said that the next day that was rectified. The balcony rooms at the front of the hotel are large and comfortable. There is also a nice restaurant / bar downstairs. The family who run the hotel were very pleasant and accommodating. The location is great in the middle of district 1. There are bars / restaurants all around. We had a great night at the Vietnamese nightclub a few doors down. the backpacker district is perhaps 15 minutes walk away. The only real issue is the construction noise going at a building site next door. Balcony rooms at the front are fine but rooms facing the site effected by noise from 7am onwards. Xem tiếp

We travel to Ho Chi Minh a couple of times a year for business. We like staying in the heart of District 1 at the New Hotel because of its GREAT location and low price. This is a "no frills" hotel but we like it because the staff has always taken care of us and have always been honest. The hotel provides a small breakfast, but we normally go next door to the Grand Hotel for their buffet. They have new ownership this year and we noticed that they are keeping things cleaner and they are renovating some of the rooms. They need to work on their internet for floor 3. I stayed on floor 2 and my internet was adequate, but my associate had NO INTERNET on floor 3. That has never been the case in the past - so they need to address this or we won't be returning. We have been stayed at this hotel about 6 or 7 times and it has always met our needs. Xem tiếp

This hotel was located in a very good location right on the border of a lot upmarket shops as well as others alike. Hotel is located right next to other Riverside properties that charge double 3 times the amount. My room did not have avert good view as it was looking at th back side of other building was for the price I paid I was quite good. Wifi worked really well with no problems at all. If you are on a budget than I would not hesitate to book. He breakfast was cooked to order from a menu. Xem tiếp

Great location with great staff. The hotel is very quiet and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is older and may not appeal to everyone but it was fine for me. The location and price more than make up for the hotel being a little older. Xem tiếp

This is my first time at this hotel. My husband had been here several months ago and he liked it. The hotel staff and the boss are very helpful. The cafe in the hotel provides good authentic Vietnamese food. It's very convenient to move around places as we could go to the shops and cinema just by walking. We enjoyed our stay here. My children and I like it. Room is not big but enough for us. It is quiet room. Good service, friendly. Room is clear with new towers everyday. It is near by restaurants, shopping, market, kids center,Saigon river... Vincom and Parkson are big shopping malls , 5 min. Walk from the hotel, where children can play, and a lot of food, bakeries, suitable for all. Xem tiếp

Overall stay was good with nice clean rooms that is relatively big. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is near nice clubs and entertainment places. Cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Only problem was next door was renovating and was noisy starting from 9 am! Xem tiếp

good wifi, great location and friendly staff. i booked a room with a balcony which was revolting and the room was fairly dirty an old television but a bed. if you just need a place to sleep at night on a budget and yet be close to the action in saigon then this is a reasonable choice. Xem tiếp

We have stayed here on a number of occasions and will do so again on future visits to Ho Chi Minh. The breakfast is basic but more than sufficient. The internet is still slow - the only negative. This hotel is very well priced and hassle free. I had booked a standard room but was upgraded at no cost to a very big room facing the quiet street. The rooms are simple but functional and clean - perfect for one or two nights. Great bed and big functional bathroom. The location is spot on if you are here for business but maybe not perfect for a tourist. Breakfast was included but I didn't try it and went for a great noodle soup around the corner instead.
