The place is very basic, 3 bunk beds, 3 electric plugs, but only for the lower beds, a hatrack a broken fan and an AC (without remove control), which was not much cooling and the bathroom was filthy. But the bedsheets and the towel were clean (and even smelled nice) and at least there were no bedbugs! The staff was unfriendly, disinterested and only self concerned (maybe if you book a tour then they will be more open) They meanwhile have WiFi in the rooms other than stated on the Agoda page. It is located on a main street, so its very loud until late and the day starts outside at 5:30 - 6 am... Bring your earplugs! Xem tiếp

The reviews led me to believe that this would be really good, but our stay was average. Comfortable room, poor AC. Didn't meet Mr Zoom though, met an unnamed man who showed me my room but didn't speak a word to me. Tried to stay another night and the woman there took about 5 minutes before saying to me no. I ended up staying 6 days at Mr Zoom's. The private room with bathroom for $5 was one of the best deals I got in Vietnam. If you're looking for a budget place, in great location, and you're not too picky, this is ideal for you. By the way, the best Pho Bo I had in Vietnam was just a few steps downhill from Mr Zoom. From the second we arrived, the staff all seemed keen to make us feel welcome. They asked about tours etc saying they can help arrange them, But put us under no pressure to do so. After extensive looking around, we booked with him because it was the cheapest comparable tour we found. Excellent staff, clean modern rooms, 1 minute walk to the waterfront. Xem tiếp

Room was nice but at the second morning we discovered some bed bug looking bites. We could change the room quickly but didn't have the feeling that the problem was taken seriously (i.e. room cleaned properly). Good location near the riverside. Feels actually more like a hotel than a hostel, e.g. no real common area. Only Mr. Zoom speaks english but he can arrange really lots of activities. Was ok. Xem tiếp

great! room was spacious (twin bed). staff were really friendly and super helpful. great for backpackers who are not looking for total comfort. minimal but sufficient facilities-clean beds, shower w hot water, clean toilets and fan. Xem tiếp

The room was adequate, not the best we've had for the price. Very noisy though. Right next to the the road so woken up at dawn by the many tooting a of horns. No air con but fan was sufficient. Breakfast was actually decent. They arranged good tours for us with no problems. Mr zoom wasn't present and other staff struggled with English and weren't the most helpful, but when Mr zoom was there he was great! Xem tiếp
