Basically, they need to upgrade their air conditioning. It was hot and the old unit in my room just couldn't handle it. When I complained they showed me several other rooms and were very helpful - but the other units were also old and not up to the job. In the end they brought me a fan and it was adequate. So basically, very helpful staff who went out of their way for a very fussy customer (me) but the rooms in general are a bit worn out and the breakfast was not great. Xem tiếp

I was upgraded to Moon View Hotel by Agoda after a problem with my booking at another hotel. Overall I had a good experience at Moon View, the wifi connection is good with fast internet, there is a good breakfast included in stay with real food (usually "free breakfast" means only toast and butter), usually a buffet but one morning was different and they made me a huge "american breakfast" meal. Staff are friendly and work hard to keep hotel clean, although housekeeping comes a bit too early in the morning (around 9am). Only complaints are the lack of a real shower in the rooms (bathtub only with shower head that only reaches about 4 feet above faucet with no holder), only 2 English tv channels without clear reception on TV, and a mysterious loud intermittent humming noise that occurred at random times and could be heard everywhere on the first 4-5 floors of the hotel.. maybe nearby construction? We stayed for about a week at Moon View Hotel after having a week in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. This hotel is located in a nice area that is between the West Lake area and the Old Quarter. It was about a 20 minute walk to attractions and restaurants in the Old Quarter and about a 40 minute walk to the Tay Ho area. Room/Hotel: The room was new and very clean. We did find two cockroaches during our time there, but it is difficult to avoid them in South East Asia. Our toilet was constantly churning up water and splashing it all over the toilet seat. It was strange but it didn't really cause any major problems for us. The hotel hallways seem a but older and run down but that's not a concern for me because the room is new and comfortable. Staff: The staff was very warm friendly but weren't able to offer too many recommendations when asked. It wasn't a problem for us since we had been in Hanoi for a week and we were familiar with getting around the city. Food: We ordered room service a number of times during our stay. We found the room service from the Japanese restaurant was very good and much better than the other restaurant. The breakfast was what accounted for a lower rating for food. When you go up for the breakfast buffet it looks nice and plentiful. The problem is it is put out when it starts and very little is done to it after that. Everyday I tried to get the soup but it was always cold. They didn't seem to have lots of guests so I would suggest they consider individual ordering rather than a buffet so the food is fresh and warm. Overall we enjoyed our stay and chose to stay longer than our original plan. Xem tiếp

it's nice hotel. Room is nice and clean. Staffs are great and friendly too. if we have a chance go back Hanoi, we will go back this hotel. From floor 12 , we could see West Lake and Truc Bach Lake. it's so wonderful. But if there is many food is better. Anyway , we still love this hotel. Xem tiếp

Staying in Moon View hotel was a superb experience. The location is great especially for business travelling person. For dining there are many local restaurants nearby the hotel and you can walk around the nearby lake also for sightseeing and exercise. The hotel food was great, and the breakfast buffet had many options to choose to. The hotel restaurant at the upper floor level served delicious Vietnamese and Japanese foods also. The room is good also with big space and comfortable bed. The staffs are excellent. They are very welcoming, attentive, friendly and easy to approach to. Xem tiếp

There is actually a Moonview one and two... Initially stayed in Moonview one and later transfer to 2. 2 is much conveniently located than onbe but overall both hotel are good nice and clean. Xem tiếp
