So far from the beach and from Duong Dong town central. Nothing there except the fish sauce room which looks quite special. If you travel by group, this could be a good choice rather than for couple. Xem tiếp

This is quite good place to stay. Very clean and spacious bungalows. Very nice clean big pool. It was very quiet as we were only people who stayed there. Except noise from the planes taking off occasionally. First morning when there were other visitors they had a buffet breakfast which was okay. Rest of the time as we were only ones there the staff was a bit slow and lazy to prepare us breakfast. At least the reception lady understood some english. All in all recommended. Xem tiếp

We stayed for 3 days- our plan was to stay much longer if the staff weren't the rudest people we have met in two years of traveling. Room is nice atmosphere, but bungalows are incredibly close to each other so there is no privacy. Dead mosquitos on the walls of bathrooms, seemingly never cleaned- and while it was nice to see the triumphs of people before us, it wasn't the most pleasant. Location is not bad, but not good either. There is a coffee shop next door, where the ladies working are adorable, and coffee is good and fairly priced- also full of locals. However beach is a lengthy walk away, and while this walk wouldn't be awful if it wasn't on the main road and in Vietnam, it is really no fun in those conditions. No beach access before a 15 minute walk, unless you pull of going through one of the hotels, and even then you gotta walk a while to resort owned beaches. The man and woman working there were absolutely awful, to the point that made us leave. Would never go back there. We didn't feel welcome for a second, nor did we feel they were being honest with anything. Again, we are seasoned travelers and we stayed in some great and some not great places, but never have we encountered such behavior that was physically sickening Xem tiếp

Our stay was for 2 nights. The hotel is very clean and we liked our room. The only few problems were that there is construction going on at the moment so prepare to be woken early. The hotel keep a rooster on site for no reason but to wake people up. The rooms also get ALOT of Mosquitos, however they do have nets around the beds. The final problem is that there are no restaurants within a reasonable walking distance nearby, so we moved to a cheaper hotel that was closer to the beach/restaurants etc. when this hotel is finally finished it will be a really nice place, but that's probably a few months away still. Nice staff but they don't speak much English. It's ok if you're an independent traveler. They are still building out the space so don't expect it to be perfect and done. You have to cross the Main Street to reach the ocean and walk a little bit for restaurants, but if you have a moto everything is quick . Xem tiếp

We booked for one night but stayed for four. We were pleasantly surprised by the bungalows. From the outside the thatched roof and sides looked rustic. But inside they were spotless and spacious. The fan is all that's needed with the light breeze and cooler evening temperatures and the mosquito net around the bed keeps the pesky buggers away. You are not in town although you are in walking distance to a few restaurants and the beach. You're able to rent a scooter at the hotel for $10USD/day and explore the island. Dirty and loud. There's a karaoke restaurant about a block away and nearly ten roosters wandering about the premesis. Between the karaoke lasting until 11pm and the roosters starting up at 3am and going in until 9am, there was little if any sleep to be had. Fresh mouse poop on the bed was disgusting. Bathroom sink hoses leaking profusely all over the floor. And non-English speaking staff means none of the issues could be communicated (I tried). We booked two nights and after trying to tell them of the issues we discovered with the room it was too late to move to another hotel for the first night. We did not stay for the second night. We really enjoyed our stay in the Mekong Space Hotel. The 24-hours reception welcomed us very friendly. In spite of they speak little English, they always helped us and wanted us to leave the Mekong space hotel with a smile. The hotel was still in construction during our stay. The rooms/bungalows are all in a very new condition and include everything you need - nice bathroom, air condition, minibar, wardrobe, TV.... Due to the Daily room service, the bungalow was always very clean. We didn't really try the restaurant, just had breakfast one morning. The food was ok, but nothing special. For a stay in the hotel (also for all other hotels on the island) you should rent a motorbike for daily trips. The Mekong space hotel also offers you to rent a motorbike. To get to Duong Duong and several restaurants (long beach) the reception can call you a taxi, which is really cheap. We definitely recommend the Mekong Space hotel. The new bungalows are really beautiful and the staff is always anxious. The area is quiet and not surrounded by a lot of other hotels like most of the them on Long Beach. Xem tiếp
