This family homestay is an authentic Vietnamese home with wonderful french influences. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast is great although Vietnamese food is available on request. Can be a little hard to ring so be sure to copy down the whole address and your task driver will be able to deliver you to the right lane, (kiet 110) enjoy your experience in the old city. Xem tiếp

Rooms are very spacious, and include everything necessary. The family is very friendly, French speaking. Dinner can be shared and breakfast is great. Location is good to visit the old town but quite far away from the newer and more lively part of the town (the river has to be crossed). Xem tiếp

Our stay at Duc’s house was perfect. The room was very clean and had both air conditioning and a fan. Bathroom was spotless. The view from the upper terrace is spectacular. WiFi worked well. Breakfast each morning included fresh bread, fruit, eggs, and STRONG coffee. :). Duc and his family prepared a meal for us on our last night and it was delicious. They were all very friendly and we truly enjoyed staying with them. They were responsive to all of our requests and offered several great local restaurant to try. If you’re looking for a great homestay near the Inperial City this is a great choice. Would definitely stay here again. Xem tiếp

Stayed here for 2 nights in December 2017 - chose it for proximity to citadel and was glad I did as could get there in a few minutes' walk and visit it myself at my own pace. It's a little confusing to find at first as it's down a lane off the main road, but the locals are friendly and helpful and will direct you there if you're unsure. The family who run the guesthouse are lovely, and provide you with a dinner on your second night, allowing you to try a range of home cooked Vietnamese dishes. If you can speak French be sure to have a chat with the grandad who is lovely company and can tell you about the history of Vietnam. There are plenty of places in the nearby streets to eat and drink, and you can walk over the bridge to the modern city centre in about 10- 15 mins if you want a bigger range. Taxis to/from the train station are only about £2 (60,000VND), and the tour company I booked my transfer to Hoi An through collected me from the guesthouse in the morning. Xem tiếp

We considered it an honor to be able to stay with this family-owned B&B. It’s a very decent family of 3 generations. The grandparents spoke French and Vietnamese only. The young couple were both professionals with a pair of lovely boy and girl. They spoke French and English. They arranged drivers to take us to the royal tombs, airport, etc. with very reasonable price. The drivers spoke little English, but we communicated with Google translator just fine. In addition to the western-style free breakfast, we were treated with a very nice traditional Vietnamese dinner. The dinner was the best meal we had during our 16-day trip across Vietnam. The room was spacious and clean. It was about 12-minute walk to the Ngo Mon/main gate (entrance) of the palace, but only about 5-minute walk from the exit gate (Hien Nhon/east gate) . Our perspectives about Vietnam have changed through a close-up interaction with this family. It’s an experience that money could not buy. Xem tiếp

Duc et sa famille sont absolument adorable. Nous nous sommes immédiatement senti comme à la maison. Les chambres et salles de bain sont très grandes. La maison est proche de la Citadelle. Maison d'hôtes tenue par des personnes très accueillantes. Le fils de la maison est francophone, ce qui est précieux pour organiser les visites, les transports etc...
