Location was fantastic, in the middle of buzzing Hanoi. Staff were super friendly and helpful. When we checked in our rooms were full, so out of 5 rooms, 2 rooms had to move to a different hotel. And had to move back the next day. That was really annoying, as we were only stayed 2 nights and packing up your stuff again is just annoying. I didn't realize that the hotel didn't have a lift, so it was quite a climb to the 5th floor. Otherwise our stay was good, very helpful staff. Xem tiếp

we were staying 2 nights. the place is close for everything. the room are upstair, good size and clean with good bed. reception is kindness and helpful if you need. they can organize trip for you with good price. Xem tiếp

The next time I go back to Hanoi, I won't even bother looking around for other places to stay; I'll just go ahead and book another room at Madam Moon's Guesthouse without giving it a second thought. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was absolutely perfect if you're looking for a central place to stay with easy access to most of Hanoi's sights. Throw in an extremely low price tag and Madam Moon's is hard to beat! Xem tiếp

had a very nice stay here. the staff was helpful with travel info. room was very cozy and in a great location near the park. convenient for nightlife and sightseeing. comfy bed, good ac, plenty of tv channels. very clean. huge breakfast included. Xem tiếp

This was my 2nd-time to stay this hotel. However, they supplied fewer choices of breakfast this time and changed the dining room which was different from the one I had at the 1st time. I was a little bit not satisfied with the breakfast and the feeling they served me at the hotel. Xem tiếp

Rooms are comfortable and nicely fitted for the price and the hotel provides a good breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Stairs are a bit steep with luggage, but the friendly staff will help if asked. The location is ideal for exploring the old quarter and strolling around Hoan Kiem lake. It's on a busy side-street of hotels and restaurants which is fairly noisy but quietens down at night. Book here for several day. Very Good location, near hoan kim lake u can just walk less than 5 minute Surrounding quite good. Breakfast at the opposite of hotel (restaurant), serve a quite good choice if u compare for the price. If u travel with an elderly, pregnant woman, or travel with huge luggage u better book hotel with lift. We go with an elderly, pregnant woman, and young children with 7 luggage. we got room at the 4th floor.(i request already for room at 2nd floor) Room was quite enough, clean and look well maintain. Thanks God just for 1 night. We got move to other hotel (near the madam moon), got a free upgrade, bigger room, and elevator (fiuhhh) with a bonus small balcony. Thankss madam moon. :) Xem tiếp

Nice staff, very helpful, which can organize tours for you upon request (very good English at the reception). The rooms are cute and comfy. Only one thing to complain about: the noise in the streets at night (while being extremely common in the Old Quarter). Xem tiếp

+ The location is great + Staff are friendly and helpful with whatever you need help with. + The rooms are clean and quite big. + breakfast + Price There are no negatives about this hotel. We stayed here two times in two different rooms - both where great. If you want to stay in Hanoi with access to shopping, sightseeing and good food this is the place to stay at. This is a small, clean place that provides a breakfast that is unequaled in SE Asia and it's included in the price. He in house travel agent knows what his job is and does it well. The guesthouse has a steep set of stairs that may be problematic for older clients like me. I told them I could not climb up five flights of stairs to get to my room. He made a call and got me a room across the street with an elevator. No extra charge. Great service. I later returned to a lower floor. Problem solved. Xem tiếp

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Madam Moons. the bed may be hard to some, but it was not a problem for me and I had a very good rest every night. The best part of the room is the hot and strong water shower. the room and toilet is very clean and neat. there is both a fan and aircon, the fan (very strong)comes in handy when the air con takes awhile to cool the room. breakfast was acceptable but I would recommend skipping breakfast for the local roadside stalls selling more delicious noodles and porridge on the same stretch of road that costs less then 2USD. Because they only have a few rooms, you are guaranteed a very personalized service from the staff, during my stay I was served by Ngyen and Natalie who were very friendly, helpful and in check with your activities in Hanoi. location wise, its along a short lane off the main traffic, so its not very noisy (Vietnam traffic is heavy and lots of horns). its in central old quarter, just beside the lake easy to walk to the museums and shopping lanes. My stay was a delight. The staff made my transition to Hanoi a pleasant one. They were willing to help in any way possible and very knowledgeable about the tours, activities and whereabouts of local goods and services. Natalie and Binh helped me book tours to Sapa and Ha Long Bay! The breakfast was really great as there was much variety; very tasty pho and coffee. I will come back and stay with the Madam Moon hotel #2 again before I depart Vietnam in December. Xem tiếp

We stayed at Madam Moon Guesthouse for over a week and really enjoyed our stay. I stayed in a more expensive hotel on the same street and what you get at Madam Moon is excellent for the price. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They helped organize tours, laundry, and visa extensions. Our room was clean. We had a fridge with 2 bottles of water each day. Some people might be concerned because there is no elevator but for us it was nice exercise everyday! Madam Moon is a on a great street with lots of little restaurants. You are right by Hoan Kiem lake and we were able to walk everywhere we went. Hanoi streets can be loud at night but that's difficult to avoid. If that's a concern you could ask for a quieter room. Some people have mentioned that it is the kind of bathroom that doesn't have a separate shower. This is quite common in bathrooms in SE Asia so please don't that deter you if you see that in a review unless it really bothers you. We loved our stay with Madam Moon and plan to stay again on our way back through Hanoi! Xem tiếp

More than you need from budget accomodation We booked a double room. The room was clean and spacious with business hotel facilities: air conditioner/heater, wifi, LCD TV with cable TV channels, desks, cupboard, chairs, a safe deposit box, ensuite hot/cold showers, toilet and wash basin complete with toiletries (flip flops, soap, shampoo, tootbrushes, combs, cotton buds, towels, etc). Breakfast is included and of the best value: buffet in Buon Dua Le Cafe, just across the guesthouse. The food there is great with nice varieties. Location is superb, near Hoan Kiem Lake. Just 5 minutes walk to Old Quarter. However, Hanoi is a small city and you can virtually walk to one corner to the other corner (in fact, you should walk as it is the best way to enjoy the city and avoid the fast metered taxi. Also, you're more likely to reach your destination faster than using public transport). Service is great. The staff may speak broken English but helpful. We booked a Halong Bay cruise tour package through the guesthouse and satisfied with the reccommended cruise) The room may lack of artistic touch (at least in my perspective) but not in a depressing way. The hot shower didn't work after my wife used it. The staff said it was because of the cold weather. I had to wait for around 20 minutes before the hot shower is hot again despite the water heater is a well known brand (Ari***n), not a chinese brand. All rooms are upstairs and the stairs are steep. It was quite a legwork for me to climb them (note that I am a fit person). The staff can help you carry your bag and tip is not expected (but do tip them, just $1 will make them happy and, as I said, the stairs are steep and demanding thus anyone carrying such weights deserve an appreciation of their efforts) Xem tiếp
