Lila homestay was simply an exceptional experience to stay. It’s a private house which has 2 rooms for guests. When we arrive she welcome us very kindly and help us with the backpacks and motorbike. There is a courtyard where park the bike. She cooked for us a typical Vietnamese breakfast, included the and coffee!!We felt like home!! Was really genuine and good! In every occasion she gave us a free bottle of water to drink! She treated us like yours sons! It was really a wonderful experience to stay here, we absolutely recommend !!! Top!! Xem tiếp

The sisters who run this place are the loveliest people. Also, my partner and I are visiting Vietnam for the third time, and are pretty much just travelling for the food this time, and the breakfasts we had here was some of the best food we had in Hoi An. We will be back for certain! Xem tiếp

It was such a pleasure to stay with such wonderful people. They couldn't do enough for me. I spend 14 days there and never had the same type breakfast twice. They prepared different meals and all delicious. One morning I got up at 3:30 AM to go to Hoi An to do some photography and was going to take a taxi but the lady said she would take me on her scooter. I think that was above and beyond being considerate. Being very friendly and helpful comes natural to them and if I were to return yes I would consider it a privilege to stay there. The husband took me to see a good location for sunrise then took me on his scooter about 40 KM away to shoot the sunset at a bamboo bridge noted in that area. He took me to shoot the rooftops of Hoi An then to his boy hood home to meet his father. It was a wonderful experience and I'll never forget the terrific people I stayed with. The owners are some of the nicest, most helpful people we've met on our trip. English is not perfect but we were able to understand each other. The homestay is a bit out of town so you will need to use the provided bikes or rent a scooter. Deluxe rooms are spacious and nice, although not quite as shiny and new looking as they seem in the photos. Still much better than most other places we've stayed at though. Beds are very comfortable and are standard western hotel bed softness. One of the deluxe rooms has an enclosed shower but the other has the usual showerhead on bathroom wall that's standard in Asia. On a scale from 1 to 10 Lila Homestay was 11. From what others have written I expected it to be good, but my stay was far better than good, actually wonderful,. Two elderly Norwegians had a great time! Highly recommended. As is the case with so many hometays and guesthouses in Vietnam, there will be some noice from motorbikes in the early morning, so bring good earplugs. Xem tiếp

best stay in whole of vietnam. owners are super friendly and makes you feel welcome, even more make you feel like you would visit good friends. the breakfast is generous and tasty plus it varies daily. the homestay is a bit off from town but in my opinion perfectly located as you don't have to endure the traffic noise and its only a 10 min bike ride to either beach and town. the rooms are comfy and we've been given the choice of room which is certenly a plus. Such a lovely welcome on arrival by the family. They honestly couldn't do enough for you. Quin cooks a beautiful breakfast which changes each day. Cute dog lucky as well!they also gave us a gift when we left. Also don't miss out on eating at the Red Dragon restaurant just a block away, best food I've had in Vietnam. Xem tiếp

It has been a privilage to stay at LiLa Homestay , if we had have stayed at a 5 star resort the level of service and care would not even come close. Its the little things, coming back after a days exploring to be greeted at the door with cold water, and yogurt, having the seats of out motorbikes covered so the seats didn't get hot, packing us water and towels if we mentioned we might head to the beach, being up at 0430hrs to pack us a breakfast for an early morning flight after being up late to make sure everything was OK after a night out. OUTSTANDING !!! very sad to leave this wonderful family. And the breakfasts are made with the care that goes into everything thing they do. If i could rate hight than excellent i would. I had a great time staying at Lila's Homestay. They were so kind during my entire stay, they showed me places to go, lent me a bike, and when i left the bike at the town one day, they even gave me a ride to the town just to pick up the bike next morning...didn't expect this really! I love my room with my little balcony too! The breakfast is also DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend this place especially for those who wanna have a quiet sleep...thank you so so much..i hope to see you again next time:) Xem tiếp

This was our favourite stay of the whole trip. Family atmosphere, clean, comfortable, large room. Location was quiet and well connected with the free bicycles. But most of all the hosts were fantastic. A free, tasty breakfast every morning, cold water whenever we got back. They just went above and beyond. One day i forgot my bag in a restaurant, it just had a towel in it. But she wanted to drive into town to get it. We stopped her but then she insisted on phoning the restaurant to make sure they looked after it until we got there. Very good people. Muy buena gente. Xem tiếp

Lila is the most wonderful homestay we’ve been to in our three weeks in Vietnam. The owner and her sister are the loveliest people, always there to help us with our luggage or give us some water before we head out for the day. The included breakfasts were absolutely phenomenal - a new local dish each day! The room was spacious, loved the balcony and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We booked for four nights but ended up extending that because we didn’t want to leave, and the morning of our checkout there were many hugs and sad goodbyes. We would recommend this homestay to anyone travelling to Hoi An. The service is exceptional. We had a home cooked breakfast everyday at the homestay. Every time we would go out we would be given bottles of water, sunscreen, towels etc. We were given a big hug and a special gift when we left and overall I would say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Extremely friendly, helpful and lovable hosts. Great variable homemade breakfast. Good quiet location east of the town, 10 minute ride on free bycycles or a short uber ride away. Everything was perfectly prepared and taken care of well. It was really comfortable stay. The room was super clean and the breakfast was incredibly delicious. I went to both the beach and oldtown by bicycle. I could feel that they are doing this with heart. I hope to visit them again. Xem tiếp

I actually had to shed a tear when I left Lila Homestay, because the owners waving at at us from the street as we left in the shuttlebus for the airport reminded me of my grandparents. :'-) This is the most moving and overwhelming experience of vietnamese hospitality that we have experienced. We had a big doubleroom which balcony and a nice garden view, good aircondition and a nice bathroom. Sheets and towels were changed every day (we didn't expect that for a homestay). The bed was comfy and wifi worked very well. Every morning the hostess and her sister cooked us delicious traditional vietnamese breakfast in the kitchen of the big beautiful house, and they would hand us each a cold bottle of water for free everytime we left the house or came back. The hostess helped us book tours to My Son and Hue, and also booked a cheap but very nice shuttlebus to the airport. The location is halfway between beach and Hoi An Old Town, and for free you can borrow a bicycle and go both places which is very nice. If you are in for a motobike, the hostes will also book one of those for you for a good price. They really made us feel at home with great warmth and every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The evening we came home from a 13 hour one day trip to Hue, we were very tired. The hostess gave us yoghurt like kids coming home from school, which was so sweet. We were not sure whether you could pay the hostess to cook you dinner (some homestays offer that) so we asked her, but that was not the case. However, she offered to go out and buy som food for us. We politely declined and told her that we would just do that ourselves, as we did not want to trouble her any further. So we went to our room to shower and after a short time our hostess knocked on the door. She had bought 4 banh mi sandwiches for us - and she didn't even want us to pay for it!! Traveling by yourself it felt really nice to be in a comfortable home with very kind people. The two ladies took great care of me. You get fresh clean sheets everyday which is amazing! A very clean and lovely home. The food is the best food I have eaten in Vietnam. Everything is done with love. They did my laundry and ironed everything! A luxury after cleaning my clothes in sinks. I was able to borrow their bikes during the day. I liked being a bike ride away from the beaches or the old ancient town. They helped me out with directions, transportation, and helpful hints on where to go. Perfect place to stay if you are in Hoi An. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality! I appreciate it so much! The best place my girlfriend and I stayed in during our time in Vietnam. The owners were super friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were delicious and we were able to use the bicycles (free) and the scooter (for a very reasonable price) as well. It's 10 minutes from the centre of Hoi An, and 5 minutes from the beach, and this was perfect for us as it was calm, less touristy and felt much more authentically Vietnam. The nicest, most welcoming people we've come across on our travels! Massive, clean room with a balcony and amazing breakfasts. Free bikes and water as well as fresh mango juice. We had an early morning flight (left Hoi An at 5am) and they were up to see us off and had packed us a wee breakfast and gifted me with a wee necklace before hugs and best wishes!
