Location ok at edge of Old Quarter. Great staff who helped with tours and transfer. Clean rooms. Had a very small room without windows, which was not ideal, but ok for a day or two if travelling alone. Breakfast was ok. First time in Hanoi, so I don't have other hotels to compare with, but I think it was good value. Xem tiếp

Clean room, good use of space within the room, and excellent breakfast (fruit, veg, freshly made fried eggs, good coffee, several meats, toast). The staff was always friendly and willing to help. They let us check in early since the room was ready and stored our luggage after check out. Only negative, and a very minor one at that, was that the refrigerator in the room didn’t work as well as hoped. Overall, it was an excellent stay! Xem tiếp

The staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is good that was included in the room rate. Very budget friendly. The only thing that we dont like is when they ask us to move on another room on our supposedly last night but since our flight was earlier we just check out earlier and just give up the room. Overall stay was nice. Will recommend hope they will not do that changing room for another guest. Xem tiếp

Staff were friendly and very accommodating. They helped to find breakfast food my vegetarian mom would eat. Location is great for old quarter, and close to train street that we could walk there in under 10min - had coffee at a little family place down the line which wasn't crowded with tourists. Had the deluxe quadruple room , which worked for our family of 4 but could be crowded if you're of bigger stature. Breakfast was good and plentiful but limited selection. If staying for 2-3 days, this should be fine, but if staying for longer, you may find it repetitive. Would stay here again. Xem tiếp

We booked 2 room for 4 persons, when arrived hotel the staff saw we are 4 person and told us all room are fully booked and just left a 4 persons room. They want us to take that room and reserve the other 2 persons room for walk-in customer. We insist to say no then they told suddenly there are available room. Staff was good, but the hotel regulation a little bit strange. We have 4 days here, and the drinking water and soap provided is for 1 day only. So its mean you have to check-out and check-in again to get all refill??? Across the hotel have railway, so if you easily awakened because of sound you should think about it. Location is not really far from the night market and night market only open from Friday to Sunday. Xem tiếp

Book a deluxe room with window, but first day check in in the middle room with the small window with view. Complaint to staff and they change my room to a bigger room next day. Staff are friendly. Xem tiếp

Overall, our stay here was disappointing. The room they gave us was spacious and initially clean. The room "makeup" everyday was not good. The cleaners would leave the room smelling of vinegar and didn't replace bath robes, sheets, or the bottled water in our room. The WiFi at Lavender is HORRIBLE. We traveled throughout Vietnam for about 2 months and this place had this worst with out of anywhere we stayed. The cleaning staff would also leave all of their cleaning supplies on the stairwell while cleaning (no need for this since there was ample room in the hallway). They would do this everyday and block the stairwell. Overall was not impressed with the staff. The breakfast buffet was bad. I was afraid to eat anything as it all looked like it had been sitting out for hours with no replenishment. They advertised a "hot tub" which really just turned out to be a pool of sitting water in the basement. Not impressed and would not recommend to anyone. The hotel arrange pick up for us from airport free of charge. Once we arrive at the hotel, we were served welcome drink. Then the receptionist/manager told us that our room is reserved on another hotel of the same business group, just 20 metre walk walk away. I am largely contented despite the last minute change. During my 1st stay we requested for a city view but the hotel did not inform us in advanced that there is no city view until we have arrived and have to walk a 100 meter in the cold night weather to their older sister hotel. On my 2nd stay, the reception did not inform me that there is no heater in the room and only found out when we entered the room! We have to negotiate with her manager to provide us blankets! I love their room design with transparent glass door toilet , its is look nice . Location a bit far from Lake but is walking distance about 15 mins. Front desk girl pretty and good service during my room check in on 06/01/18 . Hotel provided Jacuzzi located at ground floor . Breakfast area too small and less choices, hope it can be improved.
