The hotel is actually the accommodation for the local marine pilot service and they rent out unused rooms. The rooms are huge, comfortable and have fantastic views. The front desk is very helpful. There are no restaurant or common room facilities available to guests due to the nature of the accommodation, however there are ample restaurants and bars within an easy stroll. It is barely 100m from the hydrofoil landing. I would stay again if I return to Vung Tau Xem tiếp

Had a really good one-night stay here. First off, this "hotel" feels more like a serviced residence which is what I believe it was built for. It also serves as a post that oversees nearby boat communications. As such, there is a tower splitting the building (and the beautiful view) in half. Pros: The rooms are huge and clean, there are very large balconies with charming views and the location is decent (you can reach the minor beach and decent restaurants in under 15 minutes by foot). Beds were also comfortable and all the basic necessities were available. I must say the room, balcony and view exceeded all our expectations, especially considering the price so value is another definite PLUS! Cons: receptionists spoke no English but were nice enough (a friendly employee from the above tower station gave us a tour and he spoke really well however), restaurant seemed inexistent or always empty, pool and gym were quite sad and there were strange pictures of sexy women in both the bathroom and in the pool area. That was rather funny and we are still speculating on why and how they ended up there. Conclusion: if you're on a bit of a budget and don't mind not being close to the beach, this is a great option!
