The hotel would have been ok - in another location. There is nothing in Rach Gia to attract tourists and on top of that, this hotel is in one of the poorest parts of town. It's VERY hard to find even a restaurant to eat in.
In the hotel itself the female receptionist was unwelcoming, although the guy on the night desk was obliging as was the female cleaner. They were unable to give us a town map, our bathroom smelt unpleasant because of a toilet problem, we couldn't use the wardrobe because it smelt as if someone had urinated in it, the aircon seemed not to have been cleaned in many years and the curtains opened onto a wall about 30cm away so there was no natural light. We'd booked for two nights so tried to make the most of our stay but my advice to travellers is not to stay in Rach Gia: move on to Phu Quoc or Ha Tien fast. Anywhere else really.Xem tiếp
Lights did not work, wifi did not work, bath was too small, clogged sink.Xem tiếp
Stayed at hotel for 4 nights. Met some friendly staff and tourists. For the price it was well deserved. You can find cheaper areas but only by a couple bucks. My only complaint was that the floor shower would clog and Internet was on and off. But this is expected from Cambodia hotels Xem tiếp
The room by itself was beautifull, but the bed and the blanket dirty and cutted. The bathroom seemed clean but the toilet seat pretty disgusting. Its located right beside the bus station so its ok for 1 night... but bring sleepingbag with you ;) Fast Wifi, TV , and AC in the rooms was goodXem tiếp
this was the perfect spot for our stay in hcmc. just around the corner from bui vien street where there are stacks of good restaurants and street side bars. hotel and staff was great.Xem tiếp
the hotel is clean and comfortable for 2* standard. the staff is friendly and nice. i thank to their advice about the foods. but the weak point is the hotel's soundproofing not good (maybe the door thickness is thin, isnt it?). it had some talks from other guests when they went back from outside, it made me hard to sleep.Xem tiếp
Hotel is just around the corner from the bus depot, making it a great place for a one night stop over. Staff don't speak much English, but they try hard. Rooms are clean and modern. For the price I'm sure you can't do much better.Xem tiếp
stayed in this hotel for one night on a stopover in rach gia before catching the ferry to phu quoc. the hotel is clean and the staff was friendly (although i speak no vietnamese and they spoke very little english.) the location is a little out of the way if you are catching the ferry, so we had to take a taxi in the morning; rach gia is bigger than i realized.Xem tiếp
location near from bus station and river side. The room not really big. but worth it for the price. Nice staff , they helpfull. we stayed in 1st floor, near with family live. so sometime noise. and near the kitchen. smelly.Xem tiếp
Rach Gia is a place that has very little tourist traffic other than travelers making their way to Phu Quoc Island. As a result, I think it would be difficult to find a hotel with staff who have strong English skills and experience helping foreign guests. At Hong Gia 2 the staff were like this, with only one girl speaking more than a couple words of English. However, the staff were welcoming and did everything possible to take care of my friend and I during our stay. Based on my assumption of people's English proficiencies in Rach Gia, I do not think we could have had a better staff taking care of us. Also, the location was fantastic--it was near the port, the airport, the market, and plenty of street food and restaurants.Xem tiếp
There were three of us sharing the queen twin room, with lots of space. Like most people, we only stayed in Rach Gia overnight to get the Phu Quoc ferry. Your best options are to stay close to the ferry port or close to the bus station for when you arrive. We chose the latter. This hotel is just around the corner, with enough cafes around for food/drinks. You'll need to book a taxi to the ferry though. The staff had weak English and no map of the town - this really is just a stopover hotel! But perfectly fine for that, room was spacious and clean.Xem tiếp
close trade center and busstation, comfortable rooms, good value for moneyXem tiếp
Very clean hotel and a good place to stay should you need a night to stay for traveling the next day to Phu Quoc by ferry. It's a street away from the bus station. The staff speaks very little English, which made the check-in slightly difficult. But they turned out to be quite helpful in the end.
