Myself and my friend were pleasantly surprised by the great service we received from the staff at H & H Hostel the other night. We arrived late and the excellent staff helped us sort buses for our journey the following day. Breakfast was great, the room was nice and spacious with lockers and they provided us with padlocks for them. We were welcomed with cups of ice tea and smiles. Such a lovely atmosphere and we would recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a relaxing hostel in Hanoi with generous staff willing to help with anything. Big thanks to Este and everyone there. the entrance is a very small door on the street... even from there i could see how disgusting the place is and i should had turn back... but i didn't [my mistake] the place is hot dirty i say a cockroach UNDER MY PILLOW wifi is bad there are rats at the entrance of this place disgusting Xem tiếp

What I most liked about the hostel where the people, I cannot stress enough how lovely they are and how much they've helped me. The rooms are not the best you'll see but they are very good for the price, the breakfeast is amazing and the location is perfect. I would stay there again and In fact I will :) Xem tiếp

In this lovely Hotel we had booked for a room (the exact name was double one bedroom) but finally, they offered us a dormitory. This is not such a big deal, mistake could happen, we ask for a refund and the accept and that's it. But no here it doesn't work this way, here you have to argue 2 hours on the phone with someone pretending being the manager and explaining you that you understanding nothing because this is a BtoB problem and you're (me) stupidly turning it into a BtoC problem because you understand nothing about business. Was a very lovely conversation and we are grateful for your understanding and concerns Mr manager. The funny thing was that this night when we were arguing a girl arrived and started arguing because she was having exactly the same issue... problem turning into a BtoC issue maybe ? Agoda kindly refunded me but I still can't accept that this place got 1 penny for a room they that doesn't exist because that's literally what they are doing. Xem tiếp

Friendly and Accomodating Staff. I was able to get check-in very early past 9am instead of 2pm. Near to almost everything and its location is very good. Nice value for money and have a good breakfast. Lobby is small and can't really accommodate a lot of people. 2 washroom per floor and those are quite small. I miss Hanoi and their staff made me feel that I'm part of the family, especially the cute tiny dog, Shoe. For sure I'll be back there soon Xem tiếp

It feels like home, the little hostel. On the ground floor you can have a nice breakfast, work, talk or eat anything. The dorms are nice. Would come back for sure! The staff is very nice and welcoming. Xem tiếp

Good value for money and staff were so friendly! They helped me book a bus to Laos and gave us lots of information about Hanoi! I stayed just before the lunar new year so there was lots of people selling stuff in the streets (and just outside the door so we had to step over it to get out), not sure if it is like this all the time. Other than that it is a good location. It was also very cold when I stayed and staff gave us thick duvets which was great! Xem tiếp

I stayed here for 4 nights, I had a great time exploring the city from this hostel located in the old quarter. The staff at this hostel are very attentive and approachable. They have a great knowledge of their country and can give you advice on where to go and what to see. You can also book day trips through the reception at a good price. Liked the vibe. We booked a double bed in the 4 bed double room. We liked it , the bed was comfy and the curtains were nice. There was a large locker to use. It was one of the cheaper hostels available when we booked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good! The only thing we didn’t like was that the room we were in was quite moldy and had Zero air flow. The shower drains were also very smelly. The shower and toilet were in the room. Xem tiếp

Near Duan Xuan market, long bien train station and bus station. airport bus no.17. Small bathroom, small room with 2 queen size double decker bed. Friendly english speaking staff. Simple breakfast with bread, omellet, watermelon,tomato. Guesthouse door close at 12AM. Check in after2pm. No early check in. Wifi is unstable. Nearby night market and food stalls. Overall, the hostel is very cramped. The female dorm was up a steep flight of stairs and the room had maybe 1.5 feet between bunk beds. The bed was swarming with ants and the bathroom was extremely small and unclean. The staff were nice but you're better off paying the extra $1 to stay at a much nicer hostel in the same area. Good hostel for the price you pay. During our stay was a bit noisy as there were some young guys at the hall having fun. Rooms are small but beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are tiny, which is annoying because when you take a shower everything gets wet. Breakfast was Ok, with bread, fruit, eggs and coffee or tea. (Please staff, ask the guests if they want coffee with or without milk before!!) It's not the Hilton, but I tried other hostels in Hanoi and are quite worse. Xem tiếp
