Staffs weren't really friendly, they more likely to talk each other in front of guests. Tour Guide (which I forgot his name) was very nice guy. They are very nice to asian. Xem tiếp

Upon arrival at the port, I was transferred to another boat due to "maintenance" of Dugong Sail. As I just went for the cheapest available cruise, seemed nothing to lose, all in all it was a pleasant and leisure trip. However, I guess the 3D2N with 1 night on Catba Island should be a better choice for most than both nights on boat since they just sent you to another boat from 8am to 4pm the second day; not complaining as I did not wish to pack and unpack again. However, I was a bit disappointed on the kayak as they only provided 2 persons' kayak (instead of ! person lighter ones) and the kayak trips were limited to 30 mins on first day and 1 hour (guided) on the second day. I swam around the boat but the water was not at clean as they looked (saw many boats dumping water into the sea). Xem tiếp

The only thing we liked about this trip was the scenery and our tour guide. The boat was in disrepair-lights didn't work, the sink drained on the floor and the deck chairs were old, broken kitchen chairs. They didn't turn the heat on until 9pm and they controlled the temperature-we were freezing all night! The cruising time was also very short so we saw little of Halong bay beyond the harbor since we anchored for the night about 30 min away from the dock!! Boat staff was unprofessional-playing loud Vietnamese music late at night and early in the morning. Definitely felt I did not get my money's worth:( Xem tiếp

Couldn't fault arrangements. Guides were outstanding. Just hope for a room that's not above the generator, which needs to run all night or that doesn't have a toilet problem. Unless you're prepared to pay top dollar they are all old boats that probably have the same issues. The staff did everything possible to make this a great trip and it was. Just don't expect the boat(s) to be 5 star. We did 3 day/2night. Relaxing day 2 but didn't do much. Nice, but unnecessary, unless you have plenty of time which we did. Xem tiếp

We were picked up at our hotel right on time. The transfer was unpleasant, but I think this is the same for all as the main highway isn't used as they take you through the towns with a stop off at the humanitarian shop. Arrived at the port and transferred from bus to boat and set sail while having lunch. Views are fantastic. Food was ok and plenty of it. Drinks overpriced, but I think this is standard for all cruises. We were well looked after with a welcome fruit platter and drink vouchers. Kayaks a bit run down, but it was nice to be able to paddle around for an hour or so. Taken to all the usual tourist haunts, cave, pagado etc. But it was all about the Karstes. Xem tiếp

Brilliant, I got the best room with a free bottle of red wine, a fruit basket and $10 off at the bar. The whole trip was really good my favourite part was kayaking around the islands I wish we had longer to do that. When we went to the beach the area for swimming was very small though. Even though I was a solo traveller it was easy to meat people in the dining area and having a smaller group meant that everybody got talking to each other and drinking together at night. Our overnight stay was cancelled due to bad weather. That is not the issue. They did not tell us until we were on the way even though weather had stopped trips all week. I would have liked the choice to make a booking for another day. 5 hours to get there on minibus. Put together with another group on a different boat - toilet was disgusting, no lid on system and had to put your hand in to flush it. Lunch was mediocre - rice, fish, tofu, squid, omelette, salad with bottled chili sauce. 3 and a half hours on the water - barely out from shore. Queues for kayaking so long some didn't do it. Quick tour through cave. Four and a half hours on minibus. Managed to avoid the loud, drunken party cruise passengers except when some were taking photos at the cave - time was restricted and they hogged most of the photo spot. Not sure that taking bottles of beer on the cave visit was best thought out. Xem tiếp

Breakfast at 7am and leave at 7:30h with a small boat. Next 2.5 hours picking people up and getting fuel. After another hour slow cruise, canoeing, followed by lunch. We were informed we would not go to the beach, but could swim there, off the boat, in the jellyfish infested bay, then time for relaxation. 300k for 5 soft drinks, $3 each! Afternoon a pearl farm and started dropping people off at their boats around 16:00h. Nobody knew which our boat would be. After 8.5 hours on the day boat with our luggage, 7,5 h of those sitting around cluelessly, they found a boat and dropped us there. Certainly not the deluxeroom I had payed. Showers worked, air conditioning didn't. Pointless to take a shower if the room temperature is 30 degrees of standing air, no circulation. next day breakfast at 7am, check out before 8:30h. Aweful breakfast with plenty of dry toast. No salt, pepper, soy sauce or any other spices. No spoons for the coffee? cooking classes cancelled. There were also no alternatives. It was 'own' time until lunch. But without a cabin, which we had to leave before 8:30h, or electricity on the boat, switched off, or anything else. We sat with our packed suitcases the next hours, waiting for lunch. Lunch finally served at 10:45(!)h. At 11:15h departure to the land, arrival 11:45h, no bus in sight. We were then told 'own time' and 'relaxation' again and the bus should be there by 12:30h. Sitting in the sun again for further 45 minutes the situation became rather unpleasant. To make it short, we were back in Hanoi by 16:30h, the tour guide unloaded my luggage by the opera and said I had to get out, they wouldn't take me back to where I was picked up. After some insistence they decided to give me a lift home, 2 streets from where we passed earlier. Never again. I've been sitting on my suitcase since 7:30h for 9:30 hours, for what is normally a three hour journey. What a horrible experience! Xem tiếp

Just perfect. The food was excellent, great value for the money. Best price via Agoda booking. Even a plate with fruits and a bottle of red wine for free was offered in the room especially for us as AGODA clients. Xem tiếp

Had a good and restful vacation. But tour guide needs to improve. Needto talk more and engage the group. Other group's guide has more talk time. Also, during dining, please serve thw rice early. Xem tiếp
