If you want a small group and not too mych crowd, this is perfect for you. We were only four during the trip which is really good. I got a deluxe room with balcony and floor to ceiling glass perfect for halong bay view while cruising. The staff are also nice and friendly to guests. The only problem is that aircondition only works at night, although they have a fan. Xem tiếp

it was an amazing boat ride out in the open sea. The crew were so nice, our tour guide was amazing. The experience was one of the best i ever had. Attentive, exciting and interesting journey on this boat ride. Xem tiếp

Pleasant cruise along Halong Bay in the rainy season.. Which meant outdoor activities like kayaking and swimming couldn't be carried out. We were upgraded to the VIP room and thoroughly enjoyed the panoramic view from the bed. Enjoyed the pit stops around the bay as well although it was drizzling mostly. The boat was in good condition compared to others that I saw. Also if you do not want too big a crowd this is ideal as only about 16 people could be accommodated on this boat. The fewer people definitely allow for you to meet and mix with some of the other tourists on the trip which was great. The staff were great and our main guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I plan to revisit Halong Bay in the summer months and will definitely consider using Halong Annam Junk again. A trip to Halong Bay is a must for everyone. The views are breath taking. Absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Sea View Suite which had a private small terrace and if you are willing to pay the difference then I would fully recommend this room type.The staff on the boat were great and really helped make this such an enjoyable experience. I would definitely use Halong Annum Junk again when I revisit Halong Bay in the summer months. Xem tiếp

Staff were outstanding. Mr. Kwan was always going above and beyond. Food was great and lots of it. Boat only has six rooms which makes it quieter and allows for bigger space in each room. Weather was freezing so take a jacket as no heaters in the rooms...my friends from Oman were wrapping bath towels around their heads to keep themselves warm....staff gave us extra blankets. we loved our trip on annam junk to halong bay, we booked the suite room which has incredible views from the bed, the food was delicious. the only critcism i have is that we did not get to go kayaking, not due to inclement weather but due to the fact 4 irritating korean women did not wish to partake, so we missed out, majority rules i suppose, but overall a wonderful experience. I wont recommend this cruise to my friends. Halong Bay is absolutely gorgeous and definitely must-see, but Annam needs some better management and procedures. Some major issues with this company are: 1) transportation from Hanoi, which is included, is incredibly disorganized, no water provide on bus, no comfortable seats on bus 2) no drinking water is provided at any time during the cruise, only 2 small water in the cruise. it must be purchased. no drinks are included at any point during the cruise other than tea/coffee at breakfast), 3) the rooms are not at all like pictured (they were however surprisingly clean) 4) The tour guide inform us that only night time then we can on our room air conditioner but when I in my room @11pm, we still unable to on our air conditioner so we go ask the staff for help.The air conditioner in our room was so loud it could not be used while trying to sleep. 5) we receive a not fair treat from the Annam staff during our dinner, He is the only waiter serve for of us. He serve 4 of us a small plate of fried rice portion for one person only. However others tables guest fried rice is enough for 4 persons. When I ask for more rice then the way he asking me very rude: why I got not enough fried rice??? The staff only like Europeans guest and they serve them very well. All in all, I feel like Annam was misleading in their services and inclusions and would not recommend them Xem tiếp

Halong Bay is an amazing place and a must visit for tourists. The positives are the activities organised on the trip - visit to TiTop island and the climb to the top of the rock, the visit to the cave, kayaking, swimming offf the boat, visit to the pearl farm and cooking class. The crew and guide were the saving grace of the trip - they were very nice. The second day we felt was just a repeat of the first and there should have been a different cooking class from the first night's. The cleanliness of the cabin is wanting, the airconditioner can only be turned on at night after dinner, making staying in the room very uncomfortable, toilet doesn't flush well and the shower is a trickle most of the time. The departure from the boat and the arrival of the coach should be better synchronised to avoid the long wait in the heat of the seating area in the marina. The airconditioning in the coach provided on the return journey was not working very well making the 4-hour road trip very uncomfortable. Furthermore the driver just dumped the hard luggage on top of the soft luggage ripping our 1-year old luggage in the process. All in all I would rate Annam Junk a C and wouldn't recommend it to others. Xem tiếp

Beautiful authentic junk, rooms were great though the beds were very hard and only have one thin pillow. Food was amazing however make sure to let them know if you don't like seafood as the menu is 95% seafood based. Also bear in mind that you have to pay for all drinks including water tea and coffee. Was still exceptionally good value and the staff are lovely- would highly recommend!! Loved it! Xem tiếp

Enjoy myself at the Junk, the view is spectacular. The staffs and guide is very friendly. a small junk with 5 rooms so if you prefer to be in smaller group, you can book annam junk no 1. annam junk has 5 different junks which range from small to big. Xem tiếp

We did a two night stay on the Annam junk and really enjoyed our time. The scenery is spectacular, but the same from any boat, so what makes a difference is the friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff and guide, which couldn't be faulted. The junk looks perhaps a little scruffy on the outside from first impression, but inside it is well looked after, very clean and comfortable. The food was fantastic, fresh and plenty of it, almost too much! One thing I would say to English travellers, don't worry too much about the lack of English speaking skills on the emails you get from the company before the trip (I had grown a bit concerned trying to arrange a different transfer back from the boat) the actual guide is very good (ours was Ken) and was invaluable in making sure all arrangements went smoothly when we got back into port. Would recommend this to people who want a smaller more intimate experience than some of the other bigger boats we saw out there. Xem tiếp

It was really good experience to stay in Halong Annam Junk and feeling in the middle of the sea at a night. The staff and our guide are really kind and helpful. The food consist of 4-5 menu that actually too much for us. However, we do not consider that we should paid the entrance ticket to Halong approximately @ USD 25 per person excluding all of our payment done through Agoda. The stay on the junk was pretty good, staff were very polite and accommodating. We did the 3D2N tour and many activities were included. Highly recommend 3D2N as you get to explore the caves, go to the beach/water sports, check out the caves (we went to 2 caves on the trip), go on the smaller boats with local ladies rowing, squid fishing, visit pearl making facilities etc... 2D1N is simply not enough. The only issue we had was with the booking via Agoda. The booking option states the booking is for 2 people but on the side it was showing "1 head" logo meaning the booking applies for 1 person only although the booking states for 2 people.
