Hotel adequate overall. Breakfast nothing to write home about but adequate, room size large. I had a room with a balcony. As my bed was made from a twin to a double bed, bedside lamp would not reach the plug, shower over the bath tub was a shocker. Pretty cheap shower fitting that sat in a bracket either so high that it squirted at the opposite wall and shelf or at waist height. Totally flooded the bathroom. Could hear the people in the room below. Not bad hotel but would stay else where if I return to Hanoi Xem tiếp

Staff were friendly, helpful and had an excellent level of English. The room was excellent for the price we paid. Large king size bed with good quality linen, clean modern bathroom and fast wifi connection. The room didn't have a window, but that didn't bother me. Breakfast was good, with omelettes, eggs freshly cooked and available, good selection of fruits, pastries and a few hot options. Close to local cafes and restaurants. A small hotel in the city centre with easy access to all kinds of restaurants and bars, from five stars to plastic chairs on the side walk just minutes of walking away. Some of Hanoi's most famous destination for visitors such as Hoa Kiem Lake, the Puppet show theatre and the Opera House as well as Metropol Hotel are also within short walking distance. Clean, comfortable and surprisingly well designed rooms with all kinds of appliances for a traveller's needs available, including free coffee and tea. we were 3 friend. got 2 beds and 1 extra. extra bed not so good. staff very friendly and helpfull. very nice room and bath. excellent location 2 blocks from lake. we check-out at 10am for a day trip to perfume pagoda. they kept our bags and gave a room for 1 hour so we shower when come back. very recommended!!!! on arrival were told room not available and had to stay at another hotel as guests stayed an extra night due to illness and after a long flight did not appreciate this. Guest Relations manager Nguyen Lan not only needs better english but her instructions to find anything in Hanoi were useless. We doubled booked this room and the staff looked afre us with this problem We were able to get a refund as a result of their help. Made very good recommendations for attractions and restaurants. The hotel was rennovated with a healthy budget....always appreciate good showers and attention to detail. NO dirty carpet! Breakfast was OK** Xem tiếp

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel with an excellent location, but it was the service that stood out. We stayed at this hotel 4 times over 3 weeks. On one visit, I had accidentally booked the wrong date and the hotel staff figured this out, (when we didn't show up) and subsequently had 4 rooms ready for us the next day when we showed up a day late- now that is great service. Proximity to sightseeing places, lake, market and food joints is an advantage apart from a warm, friendly, approachable staff. Helpful and caring people at the front desk and restaurant. Golden Rice is ideally located just on the fringe of the old quarter of Hanoi and adjacent to the north bank of the lake hence it is within walking distance of a large number of tourist destinations. The hotel foyer and rooms were in immaculate condition and the rooms very modern and a good size. Breakfast was more than adequate with a small buffet selection and an egg station. Right from the outset we were made feel valued customers and friends by the very helpful and efficient front desk staff. They booked tours for us and even provided us with hand written lists of transport options when we made routine enquiries with them. The manager did not pay his attention to mySPECIAL REQUISITION. It was not available check in upon arrival at 01am in spite of that I send my arrival time when book. In view of price, also not recommendable. I will not book again this hotel. I wil not use again in future. Xem tiếp

Had a great stay. Would definitely return to that hotel. Staff were very accommodating - stored my luggage when I went away on two trips. Provided me with very early check-in ( a place I could sleep until my room was ready) upon my return from Sapa. I felt very secure and safe there. Xem tiếp

My stay here was superb and I will stay here again. The rooms are immaculately presented and clean, the room, bed and bathroom a great size (deluxe room.) The staff answered every question we placed and went out of their way to accommodate us when we asked for something different from the norm. The staff are the jewell in the crown of the hotel. I will not look anywhere else to stay when in Hanoi, we will return to this hotel. The location of the hotel is fantastic - only minutes walk away from the centre of all activities. Xem tiếp

Our stay was great! The staff spoke very good English and where very helpful and friendly. The rooms where large and clean, the beds very comfortable. Fantastic bathrooms.
