Very nice homestay, the family is super friendly and tries hard to make your stay pleasurable! It was very unconplicated and I even got some recommendations on what to do on the next day. The beds were very clean and quite spacious, just the bathroom seemed a bit chaotic. Xem tiếp

I stayed here several nights. The location is very convenient as a base to do daytrips from. It's almost directly opposite the Tam Coc boatride boarding station. It's also where most busses stop, so you can just walk to the hostel and don't need to take a taxi. The hostels rents bicycles, which I highly recommend for exploring the area. My bike broke down on the second day and I had to walk a bit to get back. I was worried I would get a lot of trouble because of that (even though it wasn't my fault it broke down). However, upon returning to the hostel the lady who runs it was more concerned about me having to walk some distance than the bike breaking down. I also didn't have to pay for renting the bike that day. That just goes to show how nice the staff is there. Onlu one of the ladies speaks English, but all the staff are very friendly. I even got a lift into Ninh Binh for free on my last day, which was very nice of them. The beds are fine and have curtains so you can have some privacy. Wifi worked well. The lockers are not very sturdy, but they held my stuff and nothing was stolen. Bring your own padlock though. Showers were simple, but fairly clean. On two evenings there was no warm water, but that is noy unusuall on budget accommodations in Vietnam. The homestay is behind the restaurant the family runs. I didn't eat dinner there (plenty of other restaurants within walking distance), but the included breakfast was fine. I would recommend this accommodation if you want a base to do daytrips from Tam Coc. If you want to stay in nature, there are nicer places, but they will be further away from Tam Coc. Xem tiếp

If you want to feel as a part of a family during travelling, then you must visit "Gia Bao Homestay". Me and my friends spent such a wonderful time there. What you can expect from "Gia Bao Homestay"? 1. Delicious food at very affordable prices (you must try pancakes with fresh mango and goat). 2. Beautiful room - we had new furnished one. 3. People, who are kind to you and consider you as friend, part of their family. 4. Big plus for the housekeeper - she can speak very good English (it was a nice surprise after Hanoi, where nobody understood English) 5. Additional services - bike rent, laundry service. L'établissement était fermé à notre arrivée. On a fini par nous ouvrir et l'hôtel était en travaux d'agrandissement. On a pensé partir, mais il était tard. Ils nous ont trouvé deux chambres quasi fini. Mais pour les parties communes, c'était ouvriers à partir de 6h30 le matin avec soudure et compagnie devant les portes de nos chambres. Par contre, les gens qui tiennent l'hôtel sont charmants et très serviables. En résumé, renseignez-vous avant de réserver sur l'avancée des travaux. On ne doute pas que ce sera magnifique quand ce sera fini, mais l'environnement actuel est dangereux. (On a dû leur demander de déplacer des machines pour pouvoir accéder à nos chambres sans se blesser). Xem tiếp
