I will said the tour guide name :Hung" is very good, good service from him. The meals was so nice. They will pick up you from old quarter zone, and you can just enjoy the trip and leave everything to your tour guide. We went kayaking and cave exploring. nice trip! most importantly, you must met a good tour guide to take care everything. Xem tiếp

We were picked up from our hotel promptly in the morning and the Tour Leader, Viet was cheerful and helped us with our luggages onto the bus. Viet has a good command of English and is cheerful and passionate with his work,this could be judged from his knowlwdge not only on Halong Bay but Hanoi as a whole. Programmes went accordinly to plan and the quality of flood served over the 4 meals ( Lunch, Dinner,Breakfast, Lunch ) exceeded our expectation. The cooking classs was fun with everyone participated and we had the opportunity to taste the spring rolls prepared by ourselves. Overall, would recommend Galaxy to friends especially with Viet around. P/s : Drinks sold on board are pricy. Would suggest each meal to be complimented with tea and coffee. Xem tiếp

Very friendly staff. The shuttle bus driver called me in advance to tell me that he would be slightly late to take me to Halong. Our tour guide, was very professional and attentive. The team at the cruise was also good. The cabin was clean and spacious. All activities happened in a timely manner. We have not struggled with other tour groups in any of the locations. Food can be a challenge for some people in the cruise, as most of the food was deep fried - but overall, manageable. The cruise team made their best. Beverage prices on board are reasonable. Xem tiếp

we booked for halong galaxy cruise but when we arrived in the port, we are transferred to dragon king cruise, but our tour guide assured us that the two boats belong in the same company. we really enjoyed our stay in the boat. we did many array of activities, we explore the amazing surprise cave, enjoyed kayaking and singing karaoke during the night together with the very cool staff. we are also served with delicious food in enough portion for all of us. I must say, all the staff and crew are all amazing, especially our tour guide, Thang. Thang is really friendly, attentive, patient and dedicated in his job. Halong bay is truly God's wonderful creation, and you will be blown away by its natural beauty. Xem tiếp

Our tour guide was Viet. Picked us up promptly from our hotel without any hiccups. Contacting the cruise prior for a ride service was a bit difficult. However, they will contact you a couple days prior. Get your money's worth for the cruise. Good food, great itinerary. Perfect amount of days (2 days/1 night). Room was good, bathroom/shower was ok. You get what you pay for. Found 2 bugs on board. Not a big deal. Again, you get what you pay for. Overall good experience. Would recommend for budget conscious traveler/couples. Xem tiếp

We were late for departure but the crews and guest are so kind to wait for our arrival! That's so sweet and kind of them! We can't thank more! They have all the services you can think of and good wine! So pleasure and lucky to have all of them in our trip to HalongBay. And the tour guide has good humour, such hilarious person. Xem tiếp

We took a two day/ 1 night cruise. Not quite, we were on the boat for a total of 23hours and another 2 of them we spent docked. The second day lunch was served at 10.45am when no one was really hungry and then we sat at the dock for 1 hour to eat it before we got off. The staff/tour guide, food, amenities were all fabulous, the boat was very nicely presented and clean. Overall we had a brilliant time but I think it's quite expensive for just 1 night and not many hours sailing. We think you could get a very similar experience for cheaper as all other boats docked in the same place and did the same activities. Xem tiếp

We had a great time at Halong bay, however if we knew the weather would be bad we maybe wouldn't have spent the money staying on the over night boat. During the night there was a huge storm which really freaked me out and it ruined the second day for me because I was so tired! I know that no one can help the weather but I wished we checked before hand because I don't feel it was worth nearly 200 pounds for the trip! We also has to pay 25 USD each for pick up and drop off which I hoped was included in the price! The activities are fun however the 'hike and swim' wasn't what I was expecting! It was very packed and the water which was cornerd off for swimming was dirty and smelt like wee! It was full of people and wasn't the picturesque image I had before we got there! My group did a mini version of Halong bay which is a day trip from Hanoi. It is on a river and you get to have and hour and a half boat trip on a tiny little rowing boat for two (extremely romantic) then bike ride for about 40 mins. We also went to an old temple and had lunch near by! Very good food!! This was all included in the price along with pick up and drop off! The day trip cost us 20 pounds each!!!! It was awesome! Myself and my partner wish we didn't go to Halong bay now because it was so expensive and we enjoyed the other trip better! I don't want to sound too negative because it was a good trip! If the weather was better, transfers included and if their wasn't so many tourist we would feel a lot better about the trip. BEST PART OF THE TRIP WAS THE TOUR GUIDE TOM! HE WAS FANTASIC! Xem tiếp

Unfortunately I developed food poisoning while on this cruise and I was very ill for many hours overnight. I was very grateful that Tom, our tour guide, let me remain in the room until the boat docked the following day. Tom was a very good guide and the tour was well organised. Xem tiếp

Overall the trip was great, watching the sunset from the deck of the boat was worth the money alone. The boat and its bedrooms are beautiful and the bay is absolutely incredible. Kayaking around the bay is one of the standout moments of our month in Vietnam. The staff are friendly and the guide spoke really good English. The food is quite good and they happily accommodate any dietary requirements which is a big plus. The only real issue for us was the drinks situation. The drinks on board are massively over priced for Vietnam (not just alcohol but water, coke etc) and it felt as if we were being conned out of money at every meal. For example, you're never given a menu for your drinks but if you do track one down the prices in it don't include VAT, so at the end of the trip your bill will be even more than you're expecting. The staff also offered drinks as if they were included in your meal, for example asking if you'd prefer coffee or tea after lunch, and then adding them to your tab after you'd finished. I do appreciate we could have asked if it was included at the time, but it was the way it felt like they were tricking you that bothered me more than the money. That being said, don't let that stop you going on this trip - it really was amazing! Spending 3 days in Halong Bay is one of the most memorable things I've done backpacking and I would recommend it to anyone, just remember to bring your own water.. Xem tiếp

Our stay was great. Staff were amazingly gorgeous and friendly, couldn't do enough. Our tour guild Tom kept us always informed of the history and happy to have a chat, he was fantastic. We recently spent an evening on the Galaxy Premium Cruise and had the best time with the staff and other passengers! The company arranged for round-trip transport from our hotel in Hanoi for a small fee and took us straight to the wharf; it was much less chaotic than other travelers have described! The staff are extremely attentive, from assisting with luggage, to ensuring our safety and even making sure we were well fed. Huy, Binh and Nam made our stay unforgettable! The boat (or junk) was clean and had an amazing upper deck with great views of the limestone features and bay. Food on our cruise was more than abundant, with up to 8 courses for lunch & dinner as well as an amazing cooking class. The itinerary was filled with cave exploration, swimming, squid fishing and kayaking, but we did not feel rushed through anything. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend in one of the most beautiful spots in the world. Xem tiếp

We had an enjoyable stay. Our guide Happy (name translated into English) was the best. He is actually multi-talented! Staff were courteous & very professional. Good food, nice views over the Halong Bay. They organized interesting & fun filled activities. The transport bus was also in good condition & the driver very professional. We stayed on the Galaxy Premium Cruise in the honeymoon suite on the 10th December which was beautifully decorated with long stemmed roses and rose petals. The cabin had large picture windows so you had wonderful views of Halong as you cruised. The staff were friendly with a good sense of humour and also very informative, Viet was an excellent guide. We would definitely recommend others to stay on the Galaxy Premium Cruise - and also encourage you to take part in the kayaking, even if it seems a little nippy in the morning, you soon warm up and it's great fun! We joined the overnight Halong Bay cruise. we were promptly picked up at our hotel and joined the other travelers on a 3 1/2 hour bus ride to Halong. As there were only 9 of us, we got to spend a lot of time getting to know the other travelers. Our guide, Happy was very enthusiastic, and was eager to share his knowledge about Vietnam, Hanoi and Halong. The activities were fun- sightseeing around Surprise cave and kayaking around the bay, early morning tai-chi, etc. Learning to make spring rolls for our lunch was a good opportunity to bond with others. And the food was very good, too. Just remember to bring water and snacks before you board, as they can be expensive on the cruise. The best part was because we were a small group, there was a lot of time to just sit around and relax peacefully on the sun deck. The only disappointing thing was we did not get to swim as much as we wanted because of the weather and swimming in most areas was prohibited. But overall, a fantastic experience! Xem tiếp

We stayed on the boat for 2 nights and we would really recommend this. You get to see so much more of Halong Bay. It is a breath taking place, so beautiful once you get out of the port and on the sea! The Galaxy was great for us and the kids, aged 12, 9 and 4 as they could jump off the sides and swim, fish off the back with the staff in the evening and chill out on deck too. You get to see fishing villages,local caves, go canoeing and the staff will cook you lovely fresh fish everyday. There is plenty of food so you will not go hungry! They kitchen staff are very inventive with the displays of food so be prepared to be impressed. It is all lovely, not the shiniest and newest of boats but really lovely and you have to remember you are in Vietnam. This is good value and great fun. It's such a shame all the Junks are now white though! Xem tiếp

Staff on the cruise were excellent, particularly Happy, the tour guide. The chef prepared delicious Vietnamese dishes, with plenty of food. I'm not the hugest fan of Vietnamese cuisine, but if you love it, you'll love the food. The boat trip was fantastic, with only 8 people on board. Kayaking was fun (only an hour though), we had trips to a cave, and squid fishing / karaoke at night. The best part was jumping off the boat into the bay at sunset. Even the staff joined in! Now to the negatives. 1. Prices on board for drinks and cigarettes are fairly ridiculous. Noone on our cruise really drank that much due to the high prices - could've been a lot more fun if everyone felt free to drink without worrying about costs. Considering we had all paid between $210 - 250 for the room, it's a bit much to charge so much for drinks. The cigarettes were 105,000 VND, which tops even prices for American Marlboros at the best restaurants in Hanoi. It's unnecessary and left many of us with a bad taste in our mouths about the experience. Even if you want to bring your own alcohol on board, you're supposed to pay $10 for a bottle of wine or scotch, etc - just for 'corkage'. That's insulting. 2. Breakfast was a big let down. A tiny plate of bacon to share amongst 4 people, bread that had been toasted for what I assume was about ten seconds - plus one packet of butter and jam per person. There was also an omelette to share amongst 4 people, and a slice of orange. 3. Water. Please give us water, at least with meals, rather than making us buy it. Overall, a good experience. If I was doing a cruise again I may look for a different company though. Xem tiếp

We enjoyed the sight and tours, some dishes served were great, clean and comfortable cabin and it's just a small group cruise. The van from Hanoi to Halong and back was comfortable and cool. What needs to be improved: life vests at the small boat are quite dirty and with smell, wet towels at the restaurant are not well washed, the clothes of the chef and cruise staff were quite untidy and the staff room (which was next to our cabin) smells bad with sweat even if you just pass by it. The restaurant staff could hardly understand English. But overall, the tour guide, Vin, speaks well, sensitive to our needs, friendly and very attentive.
