Excellent. It is good value. Staff very helpful and trustworthy. No breakfast menu to speak of - generally eggs, toast and jam. But it's all inclusive and well cooked. Close to shops and lake in old quarter. 15 mins from train station. Its in a busy area, so try to get a room at the rear - I stayed in 101. There isn't really a breakout area as such - more a basic hotel than hostel - so don't really hook up with other travellers there Xem tiếp

The hotel is conveniently located in Ma May and is close to plenty of good and inexpensive dining, close to some good cafes. Staff were helpful and attentive. Excellent local restaurant next door. Rooms are a little tired but the truth is you are not paying top dollar so you are getting value for what you are paying for. Xem tiếp

Overal stay was okay. The owner was friendly and organised us a good your of halong bay at a good price, turned out we paid less than everyone else on our boat. At time he came across as overly friendly and nosey but I think this is just his nature of trying to be friendly and helpful so no big problem. We had a room on the first floor which was a big twin, double bed room. Clean and everything working. Only downside was the construction work going on in the hotel next door or behind as this started around 7am waking us everyday. Not the hotels fault so that doesn't go against them. The place is centrally located, clean, has very good beds and my room - on the backfront of the hotel - was very quiet also the hotel is in the midst of the old city. The price is low and includes a good breakfast (also standard, they never let you go before you are not stuffed). Lots of steps up to some of the rooms and wearyly working Internet (only at the reception Internet worked speedy)were easily to be accepted because the true asset of the place is its manager, Mr. Han Do, who performs excellent in every way - he helps when ever needed, speaks perfect English, knows Hanoi best and guarantees priceworthy tripps - you are going to save your good money because here you can avoid any fraud or missbargaining with the help of Mr. Han's advice. The name of the hotel is completely true. The staff is very friendly. Very welcoming when you enter the hotel. Rooms are clean. Good beds! Soft bed and good pillows. Only no heater en no windows (only shutters) in the winter so it got very very cold in the room, when it was four degrees outside. Good wifi and free usage of pc. Location is in the tourist area, what is a good spot. Close to restaurants, bars and tourist things. Do not forget to visit the draft beer bars at the street around the corner of the hotel! Very cheap beer and awesome to watch the traffic pass by. Breakfast was not enough for us, but when we asked for more it was free. We booked a Sapa tour and Halong Bay tour. What turned out very good. It was arranged well. We even got a free pick up to the airport (guess they made enough commission on us ;)). Once we weren't able to finish our breakfast, so they put it in a plastic bag with extra toast to take away. Very sweet! Xem tiếp

we stayed here for 2 nites, the 1st nite with my friend in a double room while the 2nd nite, with the arrival of another 2 friends, we stayed in a family room. overall, the hotel is in a walking distance to the hoan kiam lake. the staffs are helpful and speak good english, and i had a good chat with them. despite the bathroom is a bit old fashion, overall speaking, this hotel is a value for money. This hotel has really nice rooms. A good bed and the room is nicely decorated. It is in the middle of the old quarter, perfect location to explore Hanoi. The bathroom is a bit outdated and not in line with the rest of the room, but it is clean. The staff is really friendly and can arrange your other travel requirements. Xem tiếp

The Family running the Hotel has welcomed us warmly. The location is perfect: you benefit from the features of the old district (booking trip, cafes, shops...) but not being in the centre of it, it s relatively calm. Though, two minor drawbacks: both breakfast and shower are basic. Xem tiếp

The Friendly Hotel Hanoi was definitely a great choice. This family run hotel located in the heart of Hanoi’s historical old quarter offers great value for low price. Recently the hotel has been renovated completely. All rooms are lovely arranged and come with hot shower, air condition and brand new flat screen TV. This is already great deal, but the real highlight of this place it the great service you will be able to experience while staying. “Friendly” is not only a part of the hotels name, it is the main motto of hotel manager Mr Han and the whole family. Everything is possible, but not necessarily for a high price. The family is also operating a travel agency at the hotel. The consultancy when booking tours was honest and open, the tours booked where all real highlights, bookings and travel arrangements can be done for places all over Vietnam or even further. This was not the first time I stayed at this charming little hotel and it will definitely not be the last. During my time staying I learned that many repeating guest are staying frequently. el propietario fue de una gran ayuda para averiguar un problema que teníamos con nuestro visado, si bien al principio tuvimos desavencias debidas a que nos habían cobrado un precio excesivo por un billete de tren a sapa con la excusa de que era a ultima hora y "high sesion" pero al llegar a la estación pudimos comprobar que había billetes de sobra a precios razonables. a partir de ahí debo decir que trato en todo momento de atendernos de la mejor manera posible y tratar de hacer lo mejor para que nuestra estancia fuera agradable. 가격대비 친절하고 좋음 마지막날은 방을 바꿔줬는데 훨씬 큰방으로 바꿔줬는데 이유는 모르겠음 3층에 있던방은 인터넷이 느렸는데 2층에 잇는 방은 인터넷이 엄청 빨라서 좋았음 직원이 한국말로 인사도 잘해주고 친절함 택시 이용할때는 여기서 불러달라고 하면 택시비도 적게 나오고 바가지 쓸일없어서 좋았음 Xem tiếp
