Pros : Fast check in, staff is very attentive to customer request. Room spacious and comfortable. Muslim friendly restaurant inside with halal certification. Cons: Quite far from old quarter. You need to take grabcar. Not suggest to walk by as the signage is not understandable at all and rather confusing. The waterflow at bathroom slow movement and flooded the bathroom. The outstanding point of Cosiana Hotel is its Halal restaurant - where the food is delicious. The rooms are nice, comfortable and spacious, and the staff are really helpful and friendly - with the good ability to speak above average English - which really helps when traveling in a foreign country. The only halal hotel in town with proper halal foods and services. The restaurant food is superb and great menu. Must try! The hotel area is busy but not much shopping (interest place to shop). There’s one convenient store opposite (VinMart) and some coffee house around the corner. If you want to go shopping, Grab service is the most convenient (1 click, u got a driver) and it’s fast arrival. To go Hanoi Night Market, about 10 mins drive (VND60,000), to go Noi Bai Airport is approx. 40 mins (VND280,000). To go Halong Bay, suggest you to take a local ground tour for easy arrangement which takes 3-hours drive. Happy staying...! Xem tiếp

The location is not that good but taxi is always available. The breakfast and food in the restaurant is halal. Price very reasonable and affordable. The staff can assist in making arrangement for tour to Ha Long Bay or any interesting places. Will come again and stay here. Xem tiếp

Book a family room.. 2 bedrooms. Spacious but only 1 bathroom. Service is fantastic. Very helpful and all staffs are very friendly. The location is quite convenient as it is not too far away from the Old Quarter, but away from most of the crowded backpacker areas. The best thing about this hotel has got to be the D'Lions restaurant at the ground floor which serves a tasty variety of Malaysian and Singaporean cuisine in the heart of Hanoi. Xem tiếp

We booked this hotel as it was one of a few which is Muslim friendly. They have their own restaurant, D Lions Restaurant which serves halal food. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Staff are well versed in English compared to the same hotel in Sapa. Cosiana also provides room service if you are too lazy to go out and eat. Concierge are more than willing to help and guide you if you wanna go around the Old Quarter. I am definitely satisfied staying in Cosiana Hanoi and will definitely come back here again! Xem tiếp

Though a little dated, the rooms are big and clean with cold aircon and strong water pressure. Great place for muslim travellers as halal restaurant which serves good halal food is within the premise and prayer mat & timing are provided without even us asking. Staffs are great and the fringe of Hanoi old quarters is only 10 mins away. Beware of their taxis though as they'll take you on long route and worst the "sleight of hand" tricked. To avoid being a victim, get a prepaid card and insist they follow the google map route and give exact amount for the metered fare. Xem tiếp

The foods in dlions hotel are halal, mostly Malaysian food (i prefer if they have Vietnamese cuisine as well). The breakfast buffet is quite limited, not many options. This hotel is next to railway track, it can be quite noisy if u open the window. The staffs were very helpful and can speak english. The location is not so near the attractions, however u can take cab from the hotel where it will cost less than 3usd. Xem tiếp

we had a nice stay at the hotel it was near the train station, it was very handy when going to different parts of the country , we rode an overnight to hue so it was easy for us to just leave our luggages during the day an catch the train during night time. the breakfast also easy delicious for me it is a bit expensive compared to other cheap hotels in hanoi but what sets it apart is the service that the hotel provide. we went to the train station to buy a livitrans ticket going to hue on the day itself but unfortunately the staff at the train station that is manning the ticket booth did not understand english and where not very helpful, so we went back at the hotet to ask the staff at the reception named Loc to help us a out and we asked him to call the livitrans company for us but no one answered so he accompanied us at the train station and translate for us , he was told that the ticket staff at the train staion did not know where livitrans is so he asked the locals on the street and help us locate the livitrans office that is just located on the opposite side of the train station. it was a very nice gesture from loc to get out of his way to accompany us not expecting any commisions from accompanying us ,which is very rare in vietnam . so i give them 5 stars on the level of service they provide . The hotel was modern and comfortable. The rooms were nicely furnished. The restaurant was a good place to conduct business meetings and the staff were very helpful. The main train station was very close so if you are coming into Hanoi by train you can easily walk to the hotel. Xem tiếp

We stayed at Cosiana because of it's proximity to the train station. It is only a 5 minute walk to the train station and was ideal for us to catch our train early the following morning. The room was basic but clean and suited our needs for the short stay. Xem tiếp
