Staff is super friendly. Most spoke english pretty well. Great location, but there are early morning chuch bells nearby. Good breakfast (recommend the noodle bowl). Good restaurants nearby. Great place to stay. Xem tiếp

Enjoyed my time there very much. Coming back to the hotel each day and greeted by staff was a real pleasure. Especially thought that Mai was terrific and gets my vote as the nicest of a really outstanding group of front desk people. Was there around Christmas. Church bells were very loud and caroles were playing even until late at night. So if you are OK with that, (room comes with nice ear plugs!) then the hotel rates highly for charm and comfort. We stayed at this hotel twice at the beginning and end of our trip to Vietnam. The staff are so great and friendly, rooms are very clean and big. Breakfast is sooooo delicious! The only think to note is that they have 2 Hotel, one of them is Cinnamon Cathedral Hotel and one Cinnamon Hotel( very close to each other). We booked with Cinnamon Hotel but then we moved to Cinnamon Cathedral Hotel as the bathrooms are better. Anyway Loved it and will definitely recommend this. Xem tiếp

Showing its age, the Cinnamon is in an excellent location for tourists. Breakfast is two doors doen at another Cinnamon- not a problem, but could be an issue for some. Staff were unfailingly attentive, friendly and helpful. I stayed two nights then one night a week later. Spotty at first, the wifi was nonexistent subsequently - definitely a dreback. Xem tiếp

Super hotel, well placed. We were given an upgrade room on the top floor of the Cinnamon Cathedral Hotel, two doors away. Wonderfully designed with white walls and black stained wood, balcony overlooking the cathedral roof. Large bathroom. No lift, but worth the walk up. Delicious breakfast and a generous pack up when we had to leave early one morning. The cathedral bells start at 5 am when most locals get up. Do the same and join in the Tai Chi on the doorstep or by the lake. I slept on, but witnessed the city coming to life on another occasion when I got back into Hanoi at 5:30 on the sleeper train from Lao Cai. Xem tiếp

Lovely staff, great breakfast, fabulous location. The one downside: the bells of the church across the street peal every 15 minutes. And the 5am ringing goes on for several long minutes. Also, the safe in the room is not attached to anything. Anyone can potentially lift it and walk away with it. :) I didn't worry that this might happen (and clearly, it never has), but it would be a little more reassuring if they bolted it to something. But the niggles aside, this was a very cute place and was great value for money. I will be back. Xem tiếp

We were a group of 4 who stayed as 2 couples. The staff were so lovely and attentive. Especially Tracy and Phoenix who were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had a great stay and would certainly recommend this hotel. Xem tiếp

Rreally enjoyed staying at cinnamon hotel. Hotel staff were always nice to me and helped me so much to find location etc. Their towel arts on the bed were cute and breakfast was lively. It is located in a popular area, where church, restaurants and cafes are around, so I heard noise during night though. Was fortunate that I found this hotel in Hanoi. Xem tiếp

Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful and accommodating. The room we stayed in was big and very comfortable. Cinnamon Hotel's location is great -- beside St. Joseph's Cathedral, surrounded by interesting shops and restaurants, and just walking distance to the lake. I enjoyed the stay, it was good value for money and the staff were very friendly and engaging. The bells of the cathedral are noticeable at first (especially at 0500!) but you just get used to them, & they supply earplugs if you need. the room was large, cool & dark when required & bright when not. The bed was huge, enough to squeeze in a small family. Madame Hien around the corner, night market a short stroll away & Ta Hien bars too. We can't speak highly enough of our stay at the Cinnamon. Our room was beautifully presented and clean, Ms Nguyen and her team were very welcoming and helpful and even changed our room when the wifi wouldn't work. It was no trouble for us to leave our suitcases when we went to Halong Bay; then when we got back upgraded us to their new hotel two doors down at 38 Au Trieu. The cathedral bells didn't bother us at all. If we ever go back to Hanoi we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Xem tiếp

Staff at hotel were amazing, made our first night in Vietnam an experience to remember. Helpful tips about where to eat, booked train tickets and even left weather forecast for us. On our return from a trip on the night train they happily welcomed us back at 5.30am and gave us a room to shower and sleep. Lovely designed rooms in superb location. Would definitely come back. We loved our stay at the Cinnamon Hotel . We extended by three nights because the location and staff were so good . The church bells do chime regularly, but if you are staying next to a Cathedral it is what you would expect. Xem tiếp

Everything was great! Included breakfast was good and more than enough food. The rooms were clean and next to the cathedral to hear the bells if you choose not wear the eearplugs. The only thing I would be wary of is using the staff as your travel agent. I had a couple of issues and wasn't totally satisfied with their travel arrangements l. I do think this maybe dependent on which staff member you work with. However there are plenty of travel agencies around the city that can provide this service. Xem tiếp

Very comfortable. The bells of St Joseph's ring matins at 5am which can be a little disconcerting. But the location is very charming. A few hundred metres to Hoan Kiem lake and very close proximity to 2 of Didier Corlou's fantastic restaurants. Try both - Madame Hien's is a treat. Great Pho for breakfast and kids will love the pancakes. Very big breakfast. Bar fridge prices very reasonable. They are opening a bigger version of the hotel a few places up the street and it looks as if it will be great too. Bathrooms are very basic - but the ambience and charm of the place works. Don't stay here if you want 5 star luxury - but for comfort and value it cannot be beaten. And the staff are the nicest people you will ever meet. When my daughter got a little sick they offered to send up a ginger tea and take me to the pharmacy. It feels like being a guest in a home. The design is elegant and simple. Xem tiếp
