The hostel is a good level of lively without being mega loud and intense. The staff are so nice, really good beds and lockers for security, first hostel I’ve been with proper locked dorms. Attracts the right people and situated in a really good place. Free breakfast is a perk Xem tiếp

good English service,you can ask the staff the way and change money in the hostel； nice address which ls really neat to the cho dong xuan market；a good place to know about the old quarter; degree of cleanliness is just so so； terrible breakfast compared with that of guesthouses I lived in combodia. it's very noisy on the top floor during the evening because of the party，you can choose this hostel if you like it or don't care about this. All in all a good place depending on what you're looking for.There's a happy hour and if you're not part of it, it gets pretty noisy but once people leave for the pub crawl, things settle down. You can hear sound from the hallways quite clearly in the rooms and the doors have a melody that plays every time a door is unlocked. The rooms are clean and have everything you might need including soap, shampoos, tooth brushes and slippers and breakfast is pretty nice. Xem tiếp

Not bad, but a little disappointed after seeing previous reviews. My standards aren't unrealistic as I've always stayed in hostels on numerous trips for the past 16 years, but Central Backpackers has some work to do on cleanliness. I stayed in a private room which was decently sized and had an ensuite bathroom. It was good, except that there were tiny little bugs all over the bathroom and on my last night a cockroach entered my room from underneath the doorway to the hall. My friend staying in a 6th floor dorm room told me that he could hear rats scampering on the ceiling so if you have a room with a window make sure to close it. The staff are decent and helpful but they tried to charge me after I had already paid through Agoda without checking their system. The person working the night staff a few days ago was awesome and gave my friend a present (shrimp ball chips) to celebrate her birthday. Good common area on the roof with an excellent view of the city and the best thing about this hostel is it's location in the Old Quarter. Xem tiếp

We enjoyed our room with king sized bed (a little on the hard side though), clean bathroom and free breakfast. The staff were incredibly helpful in doing all further travel booking. The area was very convenient for touring the area Xem tiếp

Good social hostel. Staff really helpful. Great beer hour and free walking tour. Private room never got cleaned and smelt, lots of spider webs and dusty and air con started smoking. Xem tiếp

The location is fantastic! Besides that, I wasn't terribly impressed. The beds are rock hard, the walls are thin and it was really noisy at night. The atmosphere is fine if you're a long term traveler and just want to party but for a vacation, it's not the best hostel I've been to. Lots of travelers just camped out sleeping in the lobby, people are crazed over the laughing gas balloons upstairs too... if you're not looking to rage, this might not be your place. Xem tiếp

Everything was great - really helpful staff! One staff member helped us get a 90% refund on our train ticket when we found out that our next destination was being evacuated due to floods. We REALLY appreciated this!! Only negative comment I would make was that the driver we booked through the hostel to pick us up from the airport was wreckless!! He had two phones on the go at once (I've never seen someone take and make so many calls - one after another after another). He drove in the middle of two lanes down the highway. He inconsiderately played crap music loudly. He got blown off the road at one stage for cutting in through traffic too closely. The hostel shouldn't arrange wreckless drivers like this for their customers. Xem tiếp

I had a private room which was very spacious and had a really nice en suite with proper shower cubicle! Luxury! It was a very busy 'party' hostel with friendly staff and guests. The hostel sells all the usual trips and transport! Xem tiếp

budget hotel with rooftop :), don't expect a luxury rooftop, but literally rooftop and nice food. the Pho in here are worth to try Xem tiếp

Good location right in the centre of old quarter, near other hostels and bars etc (didn't like that it is near a restaurant that serves dog though!). Good atmosphere, heaps of other backpackers and different themes nights up at the rooftop bar which is only noisy till just after 11 before people leave to go on the pub crawl. Staff are friendly and helpful (mostly - we did have to wait around to check in which sucked after being on an overnight bus and the guy also wouldn't give us towels to use the shower right away). Good English and helped book a bus to ha long bay. Decent sized room with tv although beds were pretty hard! Overall good and we would stay again Xem tiếp

Booked two tours, halong bay and Sapa, through the hostel. Both good prices and well taken care of. The staff here are excellent and it may be the most popular place for young tourists to stay in Hanoi. Bar crawl every night along with free beer from 7-8, if you're a solo traveler, it's set up for u to enjoy and make friends. Xem tiếp
