Ưu: - Phòng rộng rãi, tuy không có cửa sổ nhưng không bị mùi. Phòng đẹp. Giường êm. - Nhà vệ sinh sạch sẽ, nước chảy mạnh. - Khu vực trung tâm. Gần khách sạn có rất nhiều quán ăn ngon như: Phở Quỳnh, Hủ tiếu Quỳnh, Bánh mỳ Huỳnh Hoa, Cơm tấm Thuận Kiều,...... Gần khách sạn có chợ Thái Bình, phía trước khách sạn cũng là một cái chợ nhỏ nên có thể mua hoa quả. - Nước trong mini bar tính giá rất rẻ(6k/chai Aqua) nên các bạn cứ uống thoải mái, không sợ bị chém! Nhược: - Mình ở ba ngày hai đêm nhưng không có nhân viên dọn phòng(có lẽ cũng do mình không yêu cầu) nhưng cũng không có nhân viên vào bổ sung nước, khăn tắm. Mình xin thêm khăn thì quản lý nhiệt tình đưa nên vẫn ok. - Nửa đêm vẫn có khách Tây ra vào nên hơi ồn(Vì mình ở ngay phòng 201 gần quầy quản lý nên có lẽ bị vậy). - Khách sạn nằm trong hẻm nên hơi khó tìm lúc đầu. Nhìn có vẻ hơi nguy hiểm một chút. Nói chung nếu đi lại HCM mình vẫn sẽ đặt phòng ở Cát Huy!! Xem tiếp

Mình check in muộn khi khách sạn hết phòng, mình được chuyển qua 1 phòng khác bên căn hộ cho thuê gần đó nhưng vẫn làm thủ tục và ăn sáng bên Cát Huy. Mình có lên xem phòng, khách sạn sạch sẽ, nhân viên ok, ăn sáng ok, phòng deluxe cũng rất ok, mỗi tội khách sạn trong ngõ nhỏ mà trước mặt là 1 cái chợ cóc, nên nếu là khách business thì không tiện lắm. For only $31CAD this hotel is nice and spacious - comfortable rooms - great SUPER QUIET location if you want to be near Bui Vien and for the night life - good showers, comfy beds, crisp sheets and VERY VERY VERY Clean room. Xem tiếp

This place is tucked away in an alley with no noise at all in the night and is safe. The alley becomes a market in the day where you can get some cheap food for the day ahead. The location is perfect if you want to be near Bui Vien and all of the travel agencies. Really good breakfast with about 7 options and staff are friendly though not very chatty. Xem tiếp

Great location for the night life. Don’t be put off by the dark alley you go down it’s a market during the day and everyone is friendly. Rooms are great but the beds are very firm . Access to rooms are stairs only no lift, worth noting. Xem tiếp

Not easy to find the 1st time but staff came to pick me up at the taxi.It s in a narrow street, only pedestrian but after that it s perfect, no noise, no traffic, family run business, friendly staff, near all the bars pubs restaurants of district 1. Room : AC, tv, good wifi, shower, large room,comfortable bed, absolute no noise. Breakfast: coffee or tea with hot baguette ,butter and ham cheese omelette + 1 fruit, and in the morning in front of hotel there is a market so you can buy all vietnamese fruits !! Xem tiếp

We have stayed in the Cat Huy several times, we used to stay in the five star area but now we prefer to be near to the restuarants, bars,and people. The cat Huy is located just off the main eating street in a Lovett localised part of Ho Chi Minh City, it's great to watch the locals go about their life as they have done for years, a special mention to the the staff that are more than accommodating, Xem tiếp

I have stayed at the Cat Huy before and it always delivers. The breakfast is limited but good,the location is good being near to restuarants and bars with a good local ambiance. I had some money owing me from another hotel, the Cat Huy had it transferred to their account so I could receive the money before leaving Vietnam. An example of excellent customer service. Xem tiếp

Very nice place close to many things. Great parks very close. In backpacker area so expect to be hassled to buy everything: food, transport, massage, sex. Breakfast is limited. Staff are shy. Will stay in area away from other tourists next time. Xem tiếp

I have stayed here once before, it is a fantastic little oasis of quality in a busy city.it is down an ally which cars /taxis can not access but easy to walk from the main road.my check in was unbelievabley fast.there are not many rooms and I was unlucky to be on a upper floor ,which could be a problem for some because there is no lift.the rooms are first class ,modern and very very clean.the breakfast is made to order and again first class, the coffee is the best I have tasted in Vietnam.I will be back again to this little jewel. I have stayed in this hotel on several occasions,it is probably not to every ones tastes because it is located in a local laneway,to me that is one of the main attractions. Close to backpacker area, good price, breakfast Pho is excellent purchased from the stalls outside. Xem tiếp

An excellent hotel off the main streets, with well-appointed rooms. Air conditioning seemed slow to get going but worked fine. The rooms are massive (for a hotel of this grade) and were clean and in good order. The bathroom was also similarly large and clean with the usual array of useful toiletries... (Soap etc) Beds were clean and comfy, and safes are provided in every room. The curtains in our room were paper thin, so this meant we were woken up very early, but not a problem as we needed a long day to get all the sites done. Staff were very helpful in sorting things, and sorted the transfer to the airport with no hassle (Not the cheapest in town, but safe with A/C and spacious - 320k Dong (August '14)) The only drawback with this hotel is that it is off main roads, so that taxis are unable to deliver you direct to the door, but don't let this put you off this great hotel. Street outside is busy from 7am through 5pm, so feels pretty safe. I would be a bit cautious about walking alone through this street at night for the 1st time as deserted. Usual rules of traveling and tourism apply. However walking around in a pair or more seemed fine. Xem tiếp

I have stayed at the Cat Huy on several occasions the rooms are modern and large, it is located near to the cheaper backpacker ares in district 1 there are several places nearby to eat and drink,the street outside has local markets and a good outlook, it is good value for money, they can organise airport pickup for a reasonable price, the hotel can be a little hard to find on the first visit as you need to walk up a laneway that taxis can't access, Xem tiếp

I only stayed one night because I had a early morning departure and had arrived early evening,it was such a pleasant surprise when I arrived from the airport at how good this hotel was considering the cost.It was a bit surprising when the Taxi arrived at the end of the alley and I thought that I had chosen a bad hotel but how wrong I was !. The whole experiance was a delight ,I asked for a early morning call and it was dead on time ,the breakfast was very good .A first class choice. Thankyou Xem tiếp

this hotel is not 'girl-friendly' in case you were wondering but it is an excellent hotel. the location is hard to find but it is one of the cleanest hotels i have ever stayed in. the rooms are very comfortable. TV channel selection is excellent. AC works great and cools the room well. overall this hotel is a bargain for a really nice room. Xem tiếp

The hotel is in an alley which the wet market operates on every morning. So expect bustling, busy street and also dirty on your way out in the morning. But because it's located in the heart of the backpackers' area, food are aplenty everwhere at reasonable price. The hotel has 6 stories but without elevator! So don't request for high floor room if you're not traveling light! I wouldn't thought of recommending to anyone until I tried their homemade pork soup noodle in my last day! It was yummier than any of the phos I tried in my entire trip in HCMC. Last order by 9am though! The room has access to wifi, clean and spacious. Iliked it's simple decoration (less is more). i was upgraded to 1 bedroom apartment which is another building located behind the hotel. the room is super big with kitchen, hall, and separated toilet and bathroom. room is very clean and the nanny (also the keeper) is very friendly. the apartment is located at a quiet lane compared to the hotel location. the hotel is located at very small lane and there's local market starting at 5am right at the front door of the hotel. so it can be very noisy in the morning. i love the breakfast they provided. the noodle soup is so delicious that you can never skip. This was literally the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were so nice and helpful, and they always smiled and made me feel so welcome. The hotel is in a great location, and yet it is still far enough away to find some peace at night. I stayed in a deluxe room, and it was fantastic. I had a balcony, a huge room, a view of the city, and the room was very big. I stayed here for 8 nights, and I was very pleased. This hotel met my expectations, and even passed them. Yes, the hotel does not have an elevator, but it did not bother me. This is a hotel worthy of its great reviews. Xem tiếp

we stayed at the cat huy hotel for two nights on our arrival in ho chi mihn city,this hotel is a bargain at the price they are charging,only small with no lifts the sixth floof hurt a bit,the breakfest menu is small and half the dishes not available the veg pho was available one day and really good.rooms are large well appointed very clean ,staff are good bit funny when you leave all the help stops drag youre own bags to the road,once there someone will claim a cab for you,the cat huy isnt easy to find at first, using their car is a good idea for a few dollars extra.
