Khách sạn cũ kỹ và bẩn thỉu quá mức tưởng tượng. Nhà vệ sinh thì dột nát, nước rớt vào đầu. Thuê 4 phòng thì 1 phòng ko có khoá cửa. Điều hoà bật 25 độ cả ngày mà nóng hơn ngoài trời vì hỏng. Sẽ ko bjo quay lại 😡😡😡 Xem tiếp

The dirtiest place I have seen in Vietnam. Had to fight to avoid the trouble of getting sent to a dormitory while I had reserved and payed for a private room. Thanks to Agoda‘s support, it did work out for me in the end. Completely indifferent staff and horrible rooms. Do not go there. Xem tiếp

The staff were never there, the room was in a terrible state. When we checked in the floor was dirty, the stench of mould, water damaged walls and roof, mould on the walls. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, there were dirty cups, hair in the sink and a clogged drain. We were woken up at 6am with the bathroom flooding from the drain. There was never anyone in reception so we had to go and find them in their personal rooms. Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere Xem tiếp

The place is not dirty but definitely needs renovation. They are supposed to speak english but don't. They are supposed to organise kayak tours but sent me to a different agency. They are supposed to rent motorbikes but the one they gave to me didn't even start.... Sorry but I can't recommand It. Xem tiếp

It's not so far from the center (10 minutes walking), but its location is not the best. The street seems a river so it's hard to walk there (especially to go down the stairs, which seems a waterfall). Anyway... hotel looks nice, but inside the rooms everything is wet. They had to changed the room, because even the blankets were quite hummed. Room needs to be cleaner and dryer ++ good breakfast included Xem tiếp

Not only did Cat Ba House Backpackers provide affordable, lean accommodation at great price, when I forgot my passport they expedited it to Hanoi for me free of charge! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Xem tiếp

Room was disgusting. Cockroaches the size of cats came flying out of a hole in the wall, sheets were unbelievably dirty, and the toilet was not even flushed when we got there. The room had definitely not been cleaned between guests. Needless to say we did not spend the night. Avoid at all costs. Went to Cat Ba Central Hostel instead, which luckily, is completely clean and right on the water. Would reccomend it instead Xem tiếp

This is probably the cheapest place in Cat Ba. The room and furniture were a bit old. But considering the price we paid, the friendly staff and good location we were satisfied . We had a good time in Cat Ba. Xem tiếp

On the beach, quiet and far away from the city. Good place to meet other travellers and chill out. But the facilities are not the greatest, and they definitely take advantage of their relative isolation and the fact that they are in high demand,to charge expensive rates for their acomodation and food (all relative to same services in the city, of course). We've been travelling for 4 months through Southeast Asia, almost always staying in the cheapest place we can find on agoda. So far I haven't had a reason yet to post a negative review of anywhere. We are not at all fussy people, I understand that when paying $8 (CAD) for a room, you're going to be making a lot of sacrifices. We had a twin room and one of the bed sheets had blood on it. Not a huge problem, we only need one bed anyways, and honestly we've slept in many stained beds. One of the towels was heavily stained, again not a big deal. The bathroom was dirty and falling apart a little bit that's to be expected. Our problem with the room was how wet EVERYTHING was. The entire place smelled of mould and the beds were damp to the touch. We checked some other rooms in the hotel which were unoccupied and they were all the same, some were even worse with a disgusting mouldy smell. We used our sleeping bag liners so as to not have to sleep on a wet mattress but even that got damp from the air. In the morning all of our clothes that we laid out were literally wet to the touch. Even my backpack is currently airing out in our new hotel. The staff was super friendly and the room was cheap but I feel like I need to leave a review as all the ones I read were mostly positive and didn't mention the dampness. Hopefully I can stop someone else from staying here. There are a lot of other good budget options on Cat Ba; spend an extra dollar and stay at any of them. In the end it'll be cheaper than having to pay to do laundry and clean everything you own. Xem tiếp

The room wasn't clean and there were a lot of ants in it. We change the room but after a day there were ants again. Xem tiếp

+ good location - dorm rooms were very basic, but were disgustingly dirty - the bathroom & dorm room floors were not cleaned our whole 2 day stay until we asked, and even then were not cleaned well - between each guest staff would just brush down the sheets and refold the towels, meaning guests were using very dirty towels and sleeping in beds god knows how many people had slept in. When I asked for my bedding to be changed the staff did change this, but it was only when asked, and it seems the standard service was for people to reuse bedding - bathroom stank - 8 people crammed into a very small room - over priced for a very dirty hostel - worst place I have ever stayed, would not recommend Xem tiếp
