The staff is very friendly, we felt very welcome. The lady at the reception gave us a map and explained where to go. The room was on the 5th floor. No problem for us. It had a great size. The room was clean. The bed was a litte small for two and the mattress material was not my favorite.. Breakfast is good. The hotel is located in the center and in walking distance to attractions. That makes the room a bit noisy at night, but not too bad. Xem tiếp

Generally a good hotel with friendly staff. Bed was uncomfortable. The mistress was foam and there would be a large body imprint after a a few minutes of lying on it. Small bottles of water were provided in the room that we were charged for on check out. We were happy to pay but it would have been nice to have been told water was not free before we were charged for it. Xem tiếp

In the centre of frantically busy old town yet quiet as it is down a narrow lane. Staff very friendly with An being particularly outstanding in her friendliness and helpfulness. She more than anything really enhanced my stay there. I will stay there next time in Hanoi. Best experience I've had of a hotel in my trips to Vietnam. Xem tiếp

This hotel is tucked away in a tiny laneway that is in the very centre of all the action of the Old Town. The location can't be beaten. But the rooms are old and quaint and comfortable, daily maid service, cable TV, hot water and a BATHTUB and everything you could want. I love this hotel and have stayed here three times. Xem tiếp

We booked one night in the hotel. At the reception the staff sayed, that we can get a room with two single beds, but at the end we had just one big bed. But okay. The location of the hotel is great! The staff is friendly, but they just talk a few words in english and it's hard to ask some things. Breakfast was okay, but not very good. For that price it was the worst I had in Vietnam. The coffee was very small and you cannot refill it. There is no free water or juice. I asked for water and get a little glas. The fruits we had were not very good, but you can eat it. The room was horrible! When we get in after check in the staff sayed "you have the nicest room with a beautiful balcony". The balcony is very small and dirty. No place to sit. The bed was hard. The room was totally dirty. There's mold everywhere on the walls. The floor was not clean and it was cold. The ac worked after 2 hours and was very loud. The bathroom was full of Mold to, dirty shower, dirty toilet. Not a nice place to stay! Yes, it's cheap but for the same price or less we had better rooms in Hanoi!! Xem tiếp

Since I booked hotel with Agoda for years, this is the worst hotel I ever experienced, they tried to cheat me since the first step in, I booked premium room but they tried to fraud me with standard room , the staff in this hotel are so rude and fraud, never ever go back again Xem tiếp

Good value for the money. Safe, clean, a/c, wi-fi, breakfast, English speaking staff. HOWEVER, if you have any physical limitations be aware this is a tall hotel with NO elevator ( it's in the Old Quarter ie: most likely built before elevators were invented. I'm guessing a lot of the hotels in this area do not have elevators !). My room was on the 5th floor and I wasn't aware of this UNTIL I arrived. This is why I travel though.......I love the adventure ! I got to stay in one of these tall, tunnel bldgs ! I had a window that i could open and look into the OQ, local apts etc...very cool. Hotel staff will help you with your bags. If you walk to the lake you can take the city bus for 32 cents to the prison museum and Ho Chi Minh Masoleum. Xem tiếp

I stayed 2 nights and I encountered 5 cockroaches (I went there in the middle of winter). Also, there were some food scraps on the pillow. The room was extremely dirty. If you are a fan of cockroaches I strongly recommend this place. However the location was good, 1 minute away from the most happening nightlife scene in Hanoi Xem tiếp

We loved Camel City. The location is right in the center of the Hanoi nightlife, but it's tucked down a quiet(ish) alley, so going to bed early is still possible. The staff was super welcoming; the location was perfect; and the room felt like home after a couple days. Would stay here again. Xem tiếp

Comfortable beds and clean linens in an old building that is showing its age. It is right in the middle of the action though and a newly renovated hotel is going to cost you more, so I think the trade offs are OK. Family run business and they try hard to make you happy, all of them. No elevator so get ready for stairs unless you ask for lower floor. Breakfast included. Xem tiếp

Located in a quiet lane in the heart of the Old Quarter, Camel City hotel is a perfect base to explore the area. I was there for 4 nights and enjoyed my stay thoroughly. The hotel ticks all the boxes: great value, clean spacious rooms with a/c and DSTV, wonderful staff and adequate breakfasts. The lady at the desk was very pleasant and helped with advice on sights to see and day trips. The young night staff receptionist was outstanding showing me Long Bien bridge in his off-time. I would recommend the deluxe rooms. A bit more pricey, but worth it for the extra space and balcony. I have no hesitation in recommending Camel City hotel. Xem tiếp

We stayed here for 7 days and were very happy with the hotel and staff... Ann was very helpful with tour advice and even checked local weather to see if indoor or outdoor things would be better... Our room was clean with very cold ac... The location in the heart of old town was perfect for us,, lots of street food venders for cheap meals.. Easy to walk to most places we wanted to see... Our room on the street side was very noisy one night and we were told it was because it was a weekend. For them... It was not that big a deal for us. We thought it was good value and would choose it again... This was our first hotel in Viet Nam so cannot compare it to others in the same price range. Xem tiếp

walking distance from most major tourist spots and food places. we were relocated to a different hotel when hotel staff informed that the rooms were flooded due to heavy rain. No lifts or kettle in the rooms but the hotel staff helped carry our luggages up and provided thermo flasks of hot water. Camel City is a comfortable hotel in a great location. The staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. We booked the standard room which we thought was very comfortable and quiet. Our friend was upgraded to a deluxe room so we got to see what those were like too: the room was huge and beautiful so if you can afford it, you could treat yourself to the deluxe!
