We stayed three nights at Betel Gardens and enjoyed our stay very much. The swimming pool and surrounds are lovely - beautiful bonsais and plants. Our room was ok, not outstanding but I guess you get what you pay for. Pros: Good value for money Close to town centre and the river Lovely pool Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly Kim Free use of bicycles which we took full advantage of Cons: Beds were hard Plumbing in bathroom unpredictable All in all we were happy with our stay and the staff were excellent. Situated just out of town, Betel Gardens is the ideal place to stay. you can ride bikes, free from the resort, to either the old town or beach. if bikes aren't your thing then taxi cost 30k dong to just about anywhere. The resort is beautiful and really well managed by Van & Kim who work alternate days. the rooms are good and breakfast is excellent. We stayed for 8 nights and were very fortunate to receive dinner on 2 different nights courtesy of the owner. we were able to meet other travellers from Sweden, Holland and Denmark who were all interested in information on Australia. thanks Betel Gardens it was excellent. We loved it here!! Everything was perfect. From the welcome drink to the moment we left I could not find fault! Free bikes awesome! Breakfast was beautiful. Lovely well kept clear pool, which we were allowed to use even after we had checked out. Our host Kim was extremely professional and helpful & a real credit to the business. Thank you! Xem tiếp

My partner and I have stayed here two times previous to this and there was no reason to stay elsewhere on our latest trip. The family and staff are so very lovely, they are there for you if you require anything, but it also tranquil and private with beautiful gardens and a pool to cool off in. Situated between the old town and the beach it is a perfect placement away from the hustle of the old town. Tours are available direct from Betel Garden, and also bicycles are available free of charge. Great value for money. On our next trip to Hoi An, without a question will stay here again. Xem tiếp

This was my second time I stayed at this wonderful place and this time I brought my friends. The staff and owner welcomed us with a very warm welcome and made our stay so comfortable. It was like coming home again. The rooms are big with a compfy bed and mosquitonet to use if you want. The lush garden and nice pool gives the whole place such a nice surronding. The breakfast is amazing and you have so much to choose from freshly prepared for you every morning. You can borrow a bike for free and even take towels with you if you want to spend a day at the beach. They arrange pick up at the Da Nang airport for a good price. One off the evenings during our stay the owner invited all guests to a family dinner where you have to possibility to meet both the other guests and the staff and owner. We enjoyed it very much and the food was delicious. I would not stay anywhere else in HoiAn. I love the place and feel so well taken care of during my stay. The staff at Betel Garden Villas were very helpful. The rooms and gardens are beautiful. It is a 20 minute walk or so into town but they do lend bicycles for free which I recommend as it makes you feel more part of the town. Xem tiếp

What a great stay we had at Betel Garden Villas. Then room was huge for our family of 4. One large double and two singles for the children. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with suggestions of what to do and helping confirming flights. Good location. Free bicycles and easy ride into ancient town. Our stay was wonderful at Betel Gardens. It was close to everything and the staff were so friendly. On two nights a free "family" meal was arranged by the staff and owners, where everyone sat together to eat and chat. This was a wonderful and unexpected addition that enhanced our stay. 10 out of 10 from us. Would definitely recommend to others Xem tiếp

This was already our second stay. Last year we liked it so mich we decided to come back - and we were not disappointed. The family running the homestay is very nice and does what they can to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Bikes are available to use for free at any time and with those the historic town is less than 10min away, beach about 20min. They arranged airport transfers for us and we got a free meal on the first evening to get to know some other guests staying at the place. Pool is great for hot days - couldn't ask for more. Xem tiếp

All saff was exceptional. It happened that we were there during Tet, and we were so lucky that they invited us 3 times either for dinner or lunch, with amazing food. The restaurant food is amazing and i can highly recommend (better than a lot of restaurants in town!) They were super helpful with booking taxis, and tours. We did the cooking instruction tour, and absolutely amazing and worth the dollars. This homestay is one of the best we experienced in Vietnam! Xem tiếp

We stayed three nights and really enjoyed our stay. Place is a bit outside of town, but no problem with free bicycles. Had our laundry washed, which only took a few hours. One evening were invited to a dinner with the other two couples staying there. Staff was great and always helpful and gave tips on where to go, shops etc Great tranquil 9-room guesthouse with a decent sized pool. We stayed for 9 nights at Betel gardens meeting friends from UK who had stayed there before. There are 9 self villas with mini bar at supermarket prices for westerners. The food at the little restaurant is very good with breakfast included and from time to time a free dinner for the guests. The staff are very friendly particularly Dong , Tom & Mrs Vang who all speak good English and nothing is too much trouble. A 20 minute walk along the river promenade gets you to the town centre and the Ancient Town and central market. Great family run property which is cross between a hotel and homestay. Xem tiếp

Exceptional service. Its been around for 3 generations so other hotels nearby have alot to learn from Betel Garden. The owner treats staff like family and it passes down to the guest. Everyone greets everyone. Staff hung out and chatted with me over dinner, brought me to the nearby hairdressers to get 'friendship discounts' and recommended vendors they trusted which turned out to provide excellent service like themselves. Chef here cooks at local restaurant standards. I got treated to a wonderful dinner full of local food and was sad to miss their new year's party. There's no training manual for this level of personalized service, smiles were genuine and I did not feel they were trying to earn extra commission off me unlike other hotels. Facilities are slightly older than their newly built 'homestay' neighbors popping up everywhere, but adds on to the 'heritage' or vintage feel without compromising on overall quality. They even have a reading room for those choosing a chill day. Highly recommend this place. Xem tiếp

Loved it. Amazing service. Fantastic breakfast. The complex is set in the most wonderful garden setting. Location is an easy bike ride and the bikes are free. The family who run the hotel really make you feel like one of the family. Wifi is really solid as each room has its own wifi device. We would come back here any day. Xem tiếp
