The hotel was located a little far from the centre about a 15-20min walk. There’s nothing really open around the hotel. The suite was lovely and everything was clean apart from one small area of the bedroom, when we arrived had a bit of water on the floor. One negative was that both nights we had to ask for hand towels. The bed wasn’t as comfortable, a mattress topper would have done wonders. The breakfast buffet wasn’t bad, but one negative was that twice when requesting the staff for more fruit, they stood around talking and forgot about our request and therefore had to ask someone again. There was only one lift so at times we were waiting, but then discovered another lift on the other side of the restaurant. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and the staff were friendly. The manager did try to make up for the undertrained and uncaring staff. Xem tiếp

Book for this due to distance from office. But room is not clean. and bathroom door is bad. Please atmosphere in the Lobby is good. but that`s all. I will book for another hotel around this hotel next month. Xem tiếp

Does not have a swimming pool, but rather a large (hot) jacuzzi. Who wants a jacuzzi in HCMC? Also, gym has three pieces of equipment, outside, and that's it. Breakfast was limited in western options to fruit, cereal, bacon and eggs, however they didn't have bacon the three mornings I was there. It's a beautiful place, great location and friendly staff. The area around the jacuzzi is nice, however if you want a swimming pool to cool down in during the heat of the day, this is not the place for you. Xem tiếp

My partner and I chose this hotel almost entirely based on the rooftop pool and price. What we didn’t realize was how much more came with the hotel. When you walk in, you can tell the hotel is well maintained and newly renovated. Beautifully, tastefully decorated art is everywhere. The staff are warm, kind, helpful and always willing to practice their English with a smile. When we travel in Asia we prefer places that are central so we can walk almost anywhere, or taxi. Au Lac Legend was ideal in this respect too. All the main attractions of Saigon fit within 1-2km of the hotel. There’s even a market called the Box Market within 3 minutes walk. 7-11 is close by too. Service has also been remarkable. There was some issues that came up due to renovations and the nearness of the hotel. We were blown away by how the manager, Thuy, and her exceptional staff were able to accommodate and turn a negative into an absolutely positive, memorable experience and stay for us. At the time of writing, this hotel is massively undervalued and we’d strongly recommend to anyone looking for a balance of city and quiet sanctuary to choose Au Lac Legend for their stay. Could be so much better. My room was double booked (still can’t believe this) so didn’t actually get the room I booked. King room isn’t a king bed more like a double. No refrigerator in room, no mini bar. No bath in the room as advertised. Did get a window which seems unusual for the hotel. Breakfast is crowded and spills over into the foyer. Jacuzzi on the roof is great but lacks room for many guests. Staff need better management and training in their roles. Very little English spoken which makes the smallest requests a little difficult. Staff is not friendly, room is different with pictures on website, small and no bathtub ( pictures when booking is have bathtub) No no sound insulation between room and other room, very noisy and can’t sleep Breakfast is not much. I think not good for stay because you can’t relax Xem tiếp

Upgraded to the suite room and it was worth the money. Room was spacious with big window and very nice bathroom. Deluxe room was a bit small without window and several rooms have no bathtub. Xem tiếp

I'm at the hotel for two nights and had originally, and inadvertantly booked a room without a window on Trivago.com. Check this information in the description. The room was decorated in the wonderful signature style of Au Lac, but I chose to pay the reasonable $8/200,000 VND per day, to upgrade to a room with windows. Well worth it. This is a room one could stay in for much longer and a perfect hotel for someone who is over in Saigon working. I really love it. Extensive breakfast and if you are around after sightseeing during the day, there is Afternoon Tea until 5.00pm on the roof terrace. Lovely staff who are extremely professional and helpful. Xem tiếp
