I look this decent hostel giving us very basic services in very simple style with very affordable price. Good hostel for any guests in backpacker style: hot shower with soap and shampoo equipped, clean towel offered, clean toilets and toiletries in place, clean bed sheet, keeping rooms clean, good simple breakfast, one high language-skilled staff(day-time staff), helpful, friendly and kind staffs' attitude toward guests even though some unlikely to utilize any language other than Vietnamese. I really appreciated the staffs’ kind invitation to their lunch together! It was wonderful exchange, indeed! Xem tiếp

The thing I disliked the most was the cramped bathroom and showers. It’s a long narrow little room so don’t expect to stretch much. Shower rooms are supposed to have soap and shampoo, but one of them, it’s dispenser was broken. And one shower room has no latch so you pray that no one comes in and sees your noodle. I saw ants a couple times inside. Every dorm bed comes with a thin privacy curtain…but it’s not really that private. There is a fan that keeps blowing the curtain, so if you lie the wrong way, the curtain keeps hitting you. That’s a small problem to say the least. Storage under the bed doesn’t really hold big luggage. And the plug for your phone is way above the bed, so I had to use a public plug to charge my phone. Dorm room had a nice patio you could walk out onto. Breakfast — there was like 6 options. The coffee tasted off to me one morning, so I wondered what was up with that. At least it’s unlimited. Plenty of tours to buy from them at reasonable prices. Xem tiếp

This hostel was clean, beds were very comfortable, and location was great with plenty of sightseeing, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The hostel was lacking any sort of community space outside of the small and relatively bare restaurant/lobby, so there was no sense of community, but as I was only there one night it served its purpose. Stayed one night, decent hostel considering the price. 4 bed dorm felt like bit of a cell. Attention to detail lacking a bit, e.g. my bed light had no bulb and was hanging loose. The toilets on the top floor are definitely not built for someone 6ft tall. Good location for the imperial city and the staff are very helpful. For more than one night I'd look elsewhere though. The hostel is Well located . The recepction área its nice and the breakfast is simple but the same as mos places (some eggs with bread, coffe or tea and juice). We found 3 cockroach un the room!!! They change us of room but the experience was already ruined . Xem tiếp

We had a great time at Amy Hostel. Our first hostel stay and our kids loved the bunks! We are a family of six with two parents and four kids (15, 12, 10, 7). My husband and I stayed in a double room and we book and 4-bed dorm room for the kids to share. There was a bit of confusion when we arrived as the staff assumed the double booking was in error, but they quickly rearranged things so that we could have the rooms we needed. The bathrooms are a little dated, but they were clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is great: walking distance to the citadel, great restaurants, the night market, etc... and not a long walk, either. We did it nightly with our seven year old in tow. Xem tiếp

Lack of air conditioning in the dorm room caused us trouble sleeping, pretty noisy due to location. Comfortable beds and decent breakfast made our stay better. Showers and bathrooms need fixing. Overall ok stay but could’ve found something better for similar price. Xem tiếp
